SPIGEN Mag Armor Case iPhone 13 - Black
Case by Spigen for protecting the back of your mobile from scratches and other damages. Its silicone construction makes it flexible, allowing frequent placement and removal, unlike a plastic case that can get damaged. The downside of silicone compared to plastic is that it is not easily cleaned if it gets dirty, as it absorbs dirt. It has reinforced corners and special protection for durability and shock absorption in falls. It is compatible with wireless charging, so it does not need to be removed to start charging on a wireless charger. It is compatible with MagSafe accessories, such as Apple's own charger or third-party manufacturers. Compatible with iPhone 13 Pro.

Needed a slim case with MagSafe compatibility. Have only had it a short time but so far very impressed. The case adds a very mild curve to the outer edge of the phone, which IMO improves the in-hand feel compared to the bare phone. Likewise the texture on the back is grippy without being rough.Buttons are still nice and clicky through the case, and the gaps for port/speaker/mute are all where they should be. There is a protruding lip around the edge of the screen and around the cameras, but neither is as pronounced as some other cases I looked at for the 13 Pro.The MagSafe chargers I have snap on just as well as they do to the phone, and charging has been working fine.As for the “armor” in “Mag Armor”, this seems like a slim, comfortable case first and foremost. It won’t do much if you drop it on an uneven surface that can hit the screen or exposed cameras. But the construction feels sturdy so I think it’s about as much as you can expect without adding considerable bulk.Again haven’t had it long at this point, so hopefully it’s as durable as the name suggests.

The texture of this case is amazing on both the back and the sizes. The striped design on the back is simple, but adds a lot of style. I thought the magnets were weak until I tried some other cases and realized the magnets are weak on pretty much all cases. Anyways, I've tried a lot of phone cases over the years and this one is by far one of my favorites; I highly recommend it. Spigen is the best.

So i originally was using an over priced apple case and well i dropped my phone a d it didn’t nothing to protect it… go apple.so i found this case after a lot of testing and it really protects the the screen edges unlike a lot of case out there. the only downfall is the magsafe is very weak, so i got creative and took out the magsafe circut pad in my apple case abd put it in with and another layer of magnets with my spidgen case and man did the strength increase. the apple circuit pad is only so you get that magic magsafe connection screen. i found some magsafe stickers on amazon make sure you get the ones with the blue plastic on them, same ones apple uses. good stuff. don’t remove the circle sheet though that faces up.

Ordered this for my iPhone 13pro. Says 13pro on ad. What I got isn’t for 13pro. However it fits this wife’s12pro just fine and she likes it so she will keep it. But leaves me caseless! As far as a case works with mag safe and fits the 12 pro perfectlyFeels good in her hands with good gripHas elevated ridges to protect her camera and front screenBut not for the 13pro. Guessing Amazon sent me the wrong one maybe but the box doesn’t say 12 or13. Just said iPhone 6.1”Fits the 13 body but seems like the cameras on my iPhone are significantly bigger than on the 12pro. That’s what doesn’t fit.
This case fits the phone perfectly and feels well made but it has a few drawbacks. The biggest is that the strength of the MagSafe magnets is significantly weaker than the phone itself or even other MagSafe cases I've used. Since I use a MagSafe charger as my car mount this has led to my new iPhone 13 Pro ending up on the floor of the car multiple times when driving over even relatively small bumps in the road. The other biggest drawback is from the choice to make the camera protection so deep. The lip juts out so far that my MagSafe wallet doesn't sit flat and a recently purchase MagSafe backup battery has to be turned 90° in order to be used at all. I like the case overall, it is protective, but the compromise to MagSafe means I'll be searching for an alternative.
This case feels good and looks nice, but it is completely ineffective as far as working with MagSafe. I’d guess you loose 90% of the magnetic power achieved without the case. While I wasn’t quite expecting it to provide exactly the same amount of retention, I wasn’t prepare for how weak the magnet becomes when the case is used. It easily falls off the magnet with just the slightest tap. I have two other regular non-mag cases for my 13Pro and notice little to no difference between the magnetic retention of this case versus the non-mag cases. I wish I hadn’t bought it.
Half the price of an Apple case, fits fine and seems to provide decent protection. My only concern will be the cameras as the bulge on the 13Pro is certainly impressive. Tempted to fit a lens protector - but that would extend past the lip and, itself, be prone to damage whenever I set the phone down on its back.Ideally, I'd like a case with a cover that fitted over the lens block; I've found one (from CamShield) and it certainly gives the protection I need, but it doesn't allow wireless charging (too thick and there's a metal ring/stand on the back). Will use that one when I see the damage risk is higher (e.g. when working on DIY) but this Spigen case is probably as good as it gets for the rest of the time. Now, if Spigen have a case that has the camera protection ... MoreHalf the price of an Apple case, fits fine and seems to provide decent protection. (9/19/21) Case appears to be sturdy, not a thin flimsy one. It is semi-thin, but still feels as though it will protect the phone from bumps or small drops.I like the slanted line design on the back. Case is slightly flexible, which is nice. The raised lip around the camera area on the back is a relief. Nice sized opening on the bottom for charger. A little bummed that the buttons have open slots next to them (see pictures). I foresee dust being attracted to these holes.Cool logo/picture/design on the inside middle. I appreciate that the company logo is not too big on the back of the case.Overall, I think this will be a solid starter case for the new 13 Pro. I will update this review when I get the phone and after using it awhile.(10/14/21) Still enjoying this case. ... More(9/19/21) Case appears to be sturdy, not a thin flimsy one. I have a pop socket on the back, and it seems to be holding on well, even with the small grooves in the back. Overall feels secure, and like it will protect against a fall.
I'm a big fan of this case. I previously tried Apple's clear case and was really disappointed - it was slippery, the buttons were hard to press, and it didn't protect the bottom edge of the screen. This Spigen case fixes all those problems. The case is textured so it doesn't slip in your hands but is also easy to slide in and out of your pocket without catching on any fabric. It has a thin profile with a cushioned edge that wraps around the entire perimeter of the screen. The buttons are really easy to press through the case, this is important because over time if you press the buttons too hard then they start to fail. The built-in magnet provides a strong hold when I connect my magsafe charger, it doesn't fall off. Several reviews stated that this case prevents wireless charging, the magnet doesn’t work or just doesn’t hold solid enough…this doesn’t seem to be the case at all…no pun intended.First thing I did when I received it was put it on my VERY cheap slanted charging dock (cheap as in, just above dollar store quality), and it held firmly. Not sure how I feel about the magnet’s strength in a moving vehicle, but that isn’t something I can test at this time. Point is, the phone charged just fine, and held firmly in place without other support. I’m not here to gush about this case though, as it does feel good in hand, and rounds the edges of the 13 pro nicely, I am concerned about the thin nature of this case, but it’s not flimsy, nor does it feel like a piece of junk. I’m typically rough on my equipment. I don’t drop my phone much, but I do yard work and other activities with it in my pocket, so time will tell if this case is worthy or not. If it isn’t, I guess I can go back to Spigen’s Tough Armor, similar to the one I had on my previous XR that protected it for over two years. You heard that right, I had one Spigen Tough Armor case on my XR for over two years before deciding to upgrade, in fact, other than wear and tear, it is still very functional. So if you want more protection and not worried about wireless charging, that may be a better option.
