(161 reviews)

Tennis ball machines are a fantastic way to practice and improve your game, regardless of your skill level. The Spinfire Pro 2 makes it easy to practice a wide range of shots, test yourself with a variety of paces, spins and elevations, and build your mobility and fitness with practice drills. With a number of improvements over the original version, the Spinfire Pro 2 offers things you'd normally only find on a much more expensive machine. It includes internal movement, an easy-to-use control panel and remote control, and 150-ball capacity – all wrapped up in an extremely stylish and compact design. Here's what makes it even better: Improved ball variations Improved portability and practicality Improved reliability and durability Key features and benefits: Automatic Variation Automatically adjust speed, spin and/or interval as you play for a more varied training session. Internal movement This allows for faster re-direction and makes shots less predictable. Random modes Can be set to deliver the same trajectory over and over or a variety of random trajectories. Two-line drills This feature delivers alternating forehands and backhands. It can be set to "wide", "medium" or "narrow" to vary the degree of difficulty. Extreme topspin and slice capability Using counter rotating wheels, it operates very quietly and can generate maximum topspin and slice if desired. Remote control Allowing the player to start or pause the machine and change functions without leaving their side of the court. Easy portability Compact and lightweight, and fits in the boot of most cars. The ball basket can be reversed to neatly cover the machine.

I love it! It takes me three trips from my car to set everything up on the court, but since I can park almost next to the entrance this is not a problem. Its such fun, and I can get
10000 steps done in one session, so helps to keep me fit as well as improve my tennis playing, and having a ball at the same time! Having a little trouble programming the
machine to do what I want. Its easily possible to have it sending the balls out of court, so takes a while to get to know what works. Not yet worked out how to get it to do
random launches, but Im sure Ill get it sorted soon. Unfortunate had a lot of damp days lately. I thoroughly recommend it!

Bought one with an on-board battery. Awesome machine. Using Spinfire Juice Balls. Slightly heavier than normal balls. Set it up at max top spin and max speed and boy does
it work! Great performance machine for drills and the remote works perfectly right from the other side of the court. When testing it the first time, I maxed the elevation and
speed and it blew the balls right over the far fence from the opposite side baseline so this little ****** is powerful. Ran it for an hour and a half and battery was still full.
Topspin at max is seriously heavy and slice is brilliant and sharp. Can't recommend it highly enough. Would be perfect if they could supply a clip on lid for the wh... Show more

Great Machine !!
1 January 2023
Based on the advice Tennis Warehouse our Club at Clifton Springs purchased the Spinfire Pro 2 Ball Machine . We selected the external Lithium battery and bought 2 packs of the pressureless balls . We have had it almost a month now and players of all levels and coaches love it ; it is much more versatile and easier to use than an older machine that we have .For beginners , we can set it to deliver the ball gently and just near the service line . The higher level players like the drills with lots of spin on the ball .The instructions are clear and it is easy to set up . The external battery means it is lighter to move and easy to recharge .... Show more

Great product for solo training

For those of you that cant find another to play with, other than a wall, this is by far the next best option. Machine works well enough, but seems to favour one side over the other. Personally i am only using it for horizontal work, as i cannot figure out how to get the random mode to work, balls either all land behind the baseline or in the net, so i have avoided this mode (which was why i chose this model). Still for a great cardio workout for now this is working very well.... Show more

Love my Spinfire
30 June 2022
Nice machine. Very quiet which is good when using it in a residential area. Easy to transport around with the handle and wheels. The remote is brilliant. Allows you to change up the settings without going to the machine to do it. While I got the battery integrated and don't have a problem with that, I can see how having the battery configured externally would be better for someone that might have problems lifting the machine. e. g in and out of the back of a car.... It can be easily configured for all levels of play and suits everyone from young children to experienced players. The staff at Tennis Warehouse we’re extremely helpful and the delivery of our new equipment to Brisbane was quick and faultless. Everything about our purchase was fantastic. Spinfire 2 compared with new Spinfire 2 v2

From a practical point of view, the larger wheels and more compact design make a huge difference when compared with the previous model. Simply just much easier to move around and wheel over more uneven terrain and less stress on the handle. The more rectangular type design as opposed to the previous design which due to the 200 ball hopper was a little bit rounded out at the edges is just more manageable.Initially fired 7000 or so balls and only 2 ball jams. The more rectangular type design as opposed to the previous design which due to the 200 ball hopper was a little bit rounded out at the edges is just more manageable.Initially fired 7000 or so balls and only 2 ball jams. So the Carousel design works significantly better. The consistency of balls when fired is greatly improved and Im pretty sure theyre coming faster or rather the speed at which its ejecting the balls is faster than my 2 machine was.Almost perfect feeding of balls, meaning consistency of interval and almost no times where if you've chosen 1 of the 3 drills you get balls that shoot to one side 3 or more times in a row at the exact same point before oscillating to a different side or point on the same side of the court. With the previous machine obviously, once you got down to the last 10 or so balls intervals would become very varied. And often if you just waited not all the balls would have fired. Now when they stop firing pretty much always no balls left and maybe only some inconsistency in the last few balls just because there may be a gap in the carousel.Back Panel redesign is simply just more convenient. The power switch and connector for the external battery are just more convenient. I never did and still don't really use the back panel controls very much unless I need to get into the hidden settings. However, if you do use it, it's a cleaner layout and easier to navigate.Im a little annoyed that this didnt occur to me before but when initially setting up the machine if youre firing the balls in the center of the back of the court, you can much more easily align the machine to fire straight if you leave the handle extended whilst you align the wheel with the centre point. It simply helps act as a guide and its simple maths that like with bullets or arrows the further away they get shot, the greater the effect one degree off-axis has on where they end up.I believe the consistency and accuracy have really improved with the v2.Having the narrow, medium, and wide oscillation is good. I could never understand why there wasnt a narrow setting. Overall though I think the variation is more random and just simply better. In general, its a much better design, and the new carousel, wheels, placement of the XLR connector, power switch, and LCD panel are smart and logical design improvements.Internal oscillation, 2 types of external battery and light, easy to use remote.Good before, but even better now.... SPINFIRE PRO2 BALL MACHINE
8 September 2022
Antony at Tennis Warehouse was really helpful in getting a package together for us to get this ball machine. Our machine was purchased for use in an over 50s lifestyle resort. We have been putting it through its paces since getting it 2 weeks ago and our users are overwhelmingly rapt in its capabilities. We have seen immediate improvement in general tennis skills from our players through regular training sessions. It has also brought back some of our residents to tennis after not having played for some years. The ability to practice their technique and shots builds confidence and fitness.Perfect addition to our tennis community.Thank you Antony for looking after us with our purchase.... Show more

Superb Australian Tennis Ball Machine
10 March 2023
I got this machine just before Christmas 2022 so I have been using it a while now. I love the features of this ball machine. It does everything I need and want. We even practice in doubles with it. Love that I can actually practice over heads and set nearly anything to random positions, width and depth or just one spot to lock motions into muscle memory or just two particular spots. It is also extremely good feature to have internal ball oscillator so I cannot see where the ball is going to go unlike with other machines where the entire machine rotates into the direction where it will shoot the ball. That is not good because seeing that, users will anticipate where the ball is going to go and can start to run towards that position which does not simulate real life ... MoreI got this machine just before Christmas 2022 so I have been using it a while now. It is also extremely good feature to have internal ball oscillator so I cannot see where the ball is going to go unlike with other machines where the entire machine rotates into the direction where it will shoot the ball. That is not good because seeing that, users will anticipate where the ball is going to go and can start to run towards that position which does not simulate real life tennis play. This machine simulates the real play where you do not see which direction the ball is going to go, putting the realistic time pressure on the player. The remote controlls every settings of the machine, do not need to walk to the other side of the court to the machine's settings panel. To move it about is very easy and also pretty easy to lift it into the boot of the car as it has well positioned handles for lifting. I ordered the external battery option so less weight to lift into the car boot wich I would recommend. Big difference to lift an 18kg or a 24kg machine into the boot. I had a Lobster for many years and as I side note I had issues with it from day one and I also removed the battery from that one and created an external connector for it for this very reason, plus that was even more difficult to lift as no proper integrated lifting handles were designed on it. The designers of the Spinfire Pro 2 machines thought about thes seemingly simple but important features of the machine.I nearly forgot to mention the pause feature on the remote and when activated, the motors power down not wasting energy while you are getting or giving coaching instructions or getting a sip of water. With next press of the sleep button gets the motors going again and you can remotely start the ball feed again. There is only one thing that could be improved and that is where the ball feeder stops. Sometimes when you stop the machine it lines up with the ball feeder chute and as you pour balls into the hopper, a ball or two gets into the feeder chute jamming up or rather preventing the machine to start until it is cleared which can be annoying. I would suggest to the developers to implement a position detection and only stop the rotation of the ball feeder when the hole does not align with the feeder chute.A whish list item would be to be able to program multiple spots to shoot the balls at and their order of execution or randomisation.Great machine and I would recommend it to everyone....
