Took this out for the first time at the weekend in Capertee Valley - we were expecting 4deg overnight but it actually dropped to minus 5, and this kept us TOASTY warm! I am a very cold person, and was wearing x2 merino layers, but was able to kick off my socks and beanie as I was too warm (!!), and my partner was just in PJs. I was very comfortably warm even when we weren’t in direct body contact. I should say that we also had a 7.6R rated Exped sleeping mat which would have helped, but still, to be toasty warm/bordering on TOO warm in minus five for me is incredible! All the features are so well thought through too, eg the fitted bits that keep it on your mattress; warm fleece near the top; Velcro tabs; it all is very well made. So happy with this. Would buy again!

Bought this to replace the two zip together single sleeping bags we had for when I go camping with the wife. Paired it up with a queen size self inflating mattress and it's so much better. No more zips sticking into my back or hoods to worry about. And it's really warm on the coolest nights. Might have to give it a go in my double swag next time I'm out by myself for some extra room.

First double sleeping bag and I was quite impressed. Very warm and doesn't get too messed/tanlged up. One thing I did find annoying is the top end "fitted sheet" aspect fitted fine on our tall inflatable mattress but the bottom was far too tight to stretch over the corners. It may be more designed to fit slimmer mattresses but even them would need to be more inserted rather than pulled over. The pillows are also very small and lumpy and I won't be planning on using them. The bag is plenty big enough. Too big if anything.

We have used this twice already and it’s the best for us as a couple in a roof top tent! It has corners that cling to the mattress the same way a fitted sheet does; that minimises the tent becoming a nest and hubby from stealing the blankets! We have used it in lower single digit temperatures but needed to also use other blankets as it was still quite chilly, which is understandable as this sleeping bag isn’t rated for the cold. Definitely more for camping in the warmer seasons. The pillows that come with the sleeping bag are pretty small so we have continued to bring our own but our dog likes to sleep with them at the end of the tent. All in all it does exactly what it promises to do!
Amazing sleeping bag. At the bottom it is like a fitted sheet so slides over your air matress and stays there all night. Great quality and material. It kept us nice and warm when we went camping in Spring. Zips are easy to undo in the middle of the night should you get too hot and wanna stick a leg out, lol. Not as small as I thought it would get packed down but it can be easily squished into the car.
Was never a fan of single sleeping bags, too tight, too hot and they twist and slid. This queens sleeping bag is not like that. It’s roomy, comfortable and the connection to the mattress to stop twisting and sliding is awesome. Love using it when we need temporary bedding and for camping. The price presented great value. Recommend.
One result of Covid we found is that many types of accommodation - AirBnB, Stayz, Onsite cabins - all now require BYO bedding/sheets, which is a pain. Then I stumbled across this Spinifex queen size sleeping bag, which my wife and I used on a long weekend away and it was perfect. Warm enough for colder nights but never got too hot, and spacious enough for two. More comfy than my old single bag. seems very well made and will be used again very soon.
I brought this instore today as I have a cheap sleeping bag. The old was not wore enough and was getting stuck as I rolled over. This one leaves plenty of space to sleep and moce about without feeling restricted. I thought I would try it on my bed first as its not quite camping season yet.
You can definitely the feel the nip at 0 degrees in a tent, -4 was too cold and the frost really comes up underneath to freeze you from behind. But all in all very warm and comfortable. The outer layer keeps off any damp condensation and the top blanket and upper lining pulled over the head kept us warm enough to sleep. Chuck another decent blanket between the sleeping bag and the mattress in freezing weather and it'll do the job.
excellent design that allows the bag to slip under the mattress and keep it in place. I have kids that wriggle and squirm, so this is great for preventing them kicking off the bag and getting cold in the night. the sleeves that tuck under the mattress are big and deep, so it should be all depths of mattresses.sleeves themselves are a little stiff and makes a crimpling plastic noise when moving - annoying, but not a deal breaker. Warm enough, but would recommend an extras blanket on cold nights.great for heading out to airbnb's or lodge stays where they dont provide linen, as you dont need a bedsheet/mattress cover etc etc.included pillows are ok for kids, but too small/low for my use. packed size is still fairly large, but thats the compromise for an all in ...
