Sponge Daddy - 4 Pack

this was my first purchase of Scrub Daddy sponges. I read a review that mentioned their ability to change their density when they're cold or hot. I just had to try them out. I'm currently using one for hand washing dishes. I really hate the texture of the sponge. but it is really cool that and hotter water they get super soft and when you use cooler water they get extremely stiff. Its pretty amazing. They're tough and can really scrub. I will definitely continue purchasing Scrub Daddy dual-sided sponges. I highly recommend.

Amazing sponge

I love this sponge. I use it on dishes and to clean my countertops. It can last up to a month until it starts to lose its non scratch roughness. No idea how others say that it fell apart after 3 days. I highly doubt they are using it properly. I wouldn’t put bleach on it. It doesn’t smell after a while like other sponges. That’s my favorite part of this sponge. I haven’t gone back to my scotch brite sponge.

Buy them. You won’t regret it.

Literally the best. I already was using the smiley face ones but for other purposes rather than dishes. So they’d get really stretched out because of the “eyes and smile”. Then I came across these and prefer them much better! I use one for dishes as well as use them for all the other household cleaning. LOVE that it’s softer with hot water and more firm with cold. They’re just the best. Will buy these for the foreseeable future. 👌🏼

Don't waste your money.

I only leave reviews when I honestly feel people shouldn't waste their hard-earned MOOLAH:NOT impressed with these sponges, at all. I'm certified OCD, so I'm constantly cleaning (not fun but I ❤️ a clean everything) I read the reviews (as always) and it had so many positive reviews I thought I would try it. The sponge feels like a piece of coarse plastic on one side with a car-cleaning sponge attached to it.Yeah, the temperature thing is cool %26 my girls loved it but that's it. It does nothing for your dishes, except for cups/mugs, and things like that 👎🏽

I'm impressed

Never thought I’d be leaving a review for a sponge, but I guess I’m getting old. Anyway I spent months walking past these at the store and laughing at the name. One day my local target was out of stock of the sponges I normally get, so I tried these. Now I understand why so many other people before me have felt compelled to review a pack of sponges. These are awesome. They hold more soap and clean better without scratching than any other brand I’ve tried. These are definitely my go to from now on.

Impressed

I received a sample to review. The first task I tried with one was washing up. At first I thought they were bigger and clumsier than my usual sponges. However after warming up in hot soapy water the sponge became more flexible and I got used to it. In fact I started to like it when I had to clean a large saucepan. The bigger surface of the sponge made short work of the task. And the scouring side cleaned effortlessly without damaging the non stick coating. Next task was to wash down the back door and frame. I was grateful for the colour coding meaning the sponge would not get mixed up with my washing up sponge. Also the bigger surface area made it more useful for such general cleaning tasks. Just OK.

I wanted to like these sponges, but unfortunately they're just not great. On the plus side, they work well (especially when new). They're easy to keep clean, and the combination of sponge and scrubber makes these a really handy dishwashing companion. However, the durability is a real issue. In my picture, you can see the condition of the sponge after 3 weeks use. They just don't hold up like an ordinary Scrub Daddy does. And all those little pieces of plastic that crumble off are going down the drain. If you don't mind the short lifespan and shedding plastic into the water, go for it. They are good when they're new. But I won't be purchasing these again.

Long lasting sponge

Got sent this free for review. The scourer really does soften in hot water, however this does seem a bit gimmicky- I?m not sure when you?d want the combination of cold water and heavy scourer - if it needs a heavy scour it probably needs hot water! That aside, the scourer itself is good - it does soften to be safe with non stick, it does produce good suds and cleaning with a small amount of washing up liquid and the sponge and scourer rinse clean easily. It has also lasted a long time - probably at least twice as long as normal and even now the scourer is going slightly ?bald? it is still usable. Will buy these again when the pack finally runs out (in about 6 months time!!)

Too rough unless you want to use wire wool

I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I have to be honest I don?t get what the appeal of these is over normal scourer sponges. The hard side I would definitely not put on any of my pans for fear of scratching them beyond repair, they are correct they soften with water but to the point the scourer part is a bit pointless whereas a normal sponge the scourer is pretty much the same consistency wet or dry. I don?t like that they have soap included in as you can?t control how much comes out and obviously after a couple of uses not much comes out. At ?1 a sponge when you can buy about 6 for ?1 I think these are way too expensive and as reviewers said these last longer but I?d rather not have a sponge hanging around for too long for germs to ... MoreI?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Worth every penny- best sponges on the market

I bought this, along with some other Scrub Daddy products for the first time from Target.com after watching a series of You Tube videos in which a housekeeper transforms otherwise trashed houses into beautiful homes again. I would have otherwise been a bit hesitant to pay almost $5 for 4 sponges, but they seemed so durable, and she was really giving them a workout. I am happy to say that while my home is clean, these sponges removed dirt I did not even know I had, and really cleaned a slightly burnt frying pan with ease. I am so impressed with Scrub Daddy I want their full line. Worth every penny and will definitely outlast a name brand I was using, which would have fallen apart after the cleaning I did today.
