No test mode!The previous SBC-10R version had a test mode. I thought I was reading an outdated user manual, so I went to the latest docs listed here on the website. Following the instructions, I do not get into test mode, which indicates this product is not able to be tested to verify correct function.I am 100% confused on how SportDog would think removing a test mode in a static correction collar is a good decision.I am extremely disappointed in this product and will be going to another brand.

Excellent quality. Dad recently purchased me a sport dog bark collar because I’m a bit loud sometimes. He put it on me this morning which I thought was great because we might get to go for our walk. But I soon found out that when I start talking very loud it gave me a bit of a tickle so I kept my mouth shut. The rest of the day has given me a Croft surprises. I reckon I’m gonna wake up in the morning and sing my heart out !! AND ALL SHOULD BE GOOD, I might get to go for my walk. My name is Kai and I am a beautiful Amsaff . Pleasing my Mum and Dad is my ambition because I’m a fast learner. Love you all and I recommend your human pack buy you all one.

This collar has been a lifesaver! Our dog used to bark at every single person/dog who walked by our house, for hours on end. We tried a vibrating collar that worked for two weeks then he completely ignored. Within minutes of using this collar for one day, our dog has transformed to be calmer and no barking! He will occasionally test it but has only needed level 1 on a collar that learns his temperament. He still is happy and runs around the yard, just no longer frantically barking. Completely worth it for peace and a calmer household.

Fast to post item, thank you! Collar comes with prongs for short haired & long haired dogs. I alternate the wearing of this between my Labrador & Golden retriever. They wear it for a day and their barking is minimal for 2-3 days without wearing it. I tried it on the inside of my wrist before putting it on my dogs. It doesn’t hurt, it’s just a strong intense tickle, which surprised/shocked me! Knowing it’s not painful to my dogs make me more confident to use this device. They respond so well this. And, No more complaints from my neighbours! Very happy with this item.
This SportDog anti bark collar is great. The choice of modes and ability to ramp up or be set at a specific level has really helped our dog become a good neighbor. Our Heeler was always barking outside and if she needed to go out at 2am she would bark. We got the SportDog charged it up and put it on the dog and put her outside. She learned that whenever she barked she was corrected and we saw a huge improvement in one day. She is so much better now that we can go 3+ weeks before charging the collar and our neighbors asked how we got her to quiet down so suddenly.We had a couple of different el cheapo ones from Amazon, but they were inconsistent and occasionally zapped her if she was itching or shaking and that is negative training so we justdon’t use those.
I will never recommend this product to any dog owner! The fact is it burnt my dogs skin and needed urgent surgery. The fact a guy called and try saying my dog had sensitive skin and the vet is wrong ?! Excuse me! How would you like if you saw your pet being rushed for emergency surgery due the burn and having faith in a product that SHOULD be safe for all dogs!! The fact you argued with me about what the vet said isn’t good enough.There was no apology just simple being rude!!! Please read reviews and never buy this product I am living a nightmare and guilt atm seeing my dog suffer
I had some issues in the begining, like many others thinking the product might not be working well. I call customer service and got the full explanation on how the sensor works for the bark control. It was simply that we needed to tighten the collar a bit. It almost seems like it is too tight, but think how hard some dogs pull on a leash. You can get this collar nice and snug and your pet will be just fine. Our Rottweiler knows when he has the collar on and is a nice quiet guy. So if you think the collar doesn't work, tighten it up, or please call customer service for help. We have been using the collar for 6 years, so I have plenty of use time to be sure about this product.
Well, in a nutshell, the collar works. We're using it on our 1 1/2 year old mut that likes to fence bark at pedestrians walking up the street. Looking back I think she stopped after about the 2nd day. She wears it in the morning for about 4 hours durring the busiest times and is fine for the rest of the day. It's been about 2 1/5 weeks, and we never hear her bark like she did before. Maybe just an occasional woof. We're using the NOBARK SBC-R collar on the Progressive Correction, level 1 and have never needed to recharge the batteries. They're still showing a full charge. Great product!
We are very happy with the service and the collar. Super fast delivery, received on the third day from the order. Collar works brilliantly; we are using it on two young dogs (10 months old Cane Corso) both learned from day 1 not to bark when the collar is on; exactly as explained by the sales person. Thank you.The only item to improve is the length of the collar. It is on the last hole for the larger dog (he is currently 56kg) is considered still a puppy and will grow out of the collar in a couple of months time. Hope, he won't need it by then. We have a 10 mth old kelpie and the collar works a treat, best $240 odd we've spent.Now we don't mind the dog barking during the day, and we could tolerate her barking at the birds 2 houses away, but not at night. First night, one and 1/2 barks, then silence. 2nd night one bark, then silence. Now silence at night unless there is something happening, and mostly silence during the day.To add, I'm not sure if our dog is a masochist, but she comes to us to get her collar on before she goes out at bedtime 😲. Gold!!
