The SRAM Force AXS has many of the same features as the SRAM Red AXS, but has a much friendlier price point. As a result this groupset can be setup as a 1x12 or 2x12 drivetrain. The cassettes offer you a very wide range, which is all you need for almost all types of environments. The rear derailleur in this kit has a short cage and can accommodate a cassette up to 33T. A fluid clutch keeps the chain under tension, so it won't slap even on rough terrain. The front derailleur is completely redesigned. SRAM has optimised it for a difference of 13 teeth between the inner and outer chainrings. At this difference, the derailleur shifts ideally and you switch to the other blade flawlessly. You will find that all SRAM's double 12 speed cranksets share this characteristic. Included with this disc groupset are the completely redesigned SRAM rotors. Due to the open design, sand, mud and other dirt are well disposed of. In addition, these rotors have increased heat dissipation during long descents. Finally, you can completely tune the groupset to your needs.
