The Sram HS2 Brake Discs are MTB-specific disc brakes designed to improve braking performance. The discs have a larger surface area, which means they dissipate heat better and give a higher braking force. These brake discs are also slightly thicker than usual (2 mm vs. 1.85 mm with normal discs). This makes them extremely suitable for eMTBs, as well as enduro and downhill mountain bikes. Finally, the noise during braking has been drastically reduced, so that you are less likely to suffer from squeaking brakes. Renewed Pattern and coating The new pattern of the SRAM HS2 Brake Disc provides more grip in combination with the SRAM brake pads. The central part is treated with a heat-dissipating coating. This makes the HS2 a powerful, quiet brake disc with best-in-class heat management.
