Great ssd for pc building. Excellent read/write speeds even after heavy use. Simultaneously downloads work fine if your SATA cables are functioning. A bit expensive, but worth the upgrade from HDD storage. Recommended for moderate budget builds.

This works awesome! Easy to use fast on downloading all your files to keep them safe. Pros are that it is very easy to use! I wouldn't improve this at all. Very affordable! Nice packaging. If you're looking for a great place to keep your files I recommend trying this

Hello again once again I will state my addiction to this brand of products. Just like my USB and Micro SD cards My computers all have Kingston SSD drives because I like Speed and reliability. Right now I only have the 240 gig version and they are fantastic but I need bigger with all the editing for YouTube.I love having my computer boot from powered off to using windows within 11 seconds its super fast.

Kingston is a super reliable brand of SSDs. I love how they come in so many storage capacity for your personal usage needs. The only thing better than a solid state drive is a flash drive and those are so hard to install after the fact! Kingston 240 GB SSD is the perfect size for the average user and so fast.
I'm just running a home lab server off the 3 drive RAID 5. I don't imagine power loss to be a major problem as I'm only running about 30 VMs. I had previously used a group of standard Seagate SATA SSDs and the RAID keeps dropping. I figured that with SSDs being non spinning, error-recover required for RAID striping would be part of any drive's firmware, but it's not. Manufacturer's still produce two separate firmware sets so they can charge $60 more per drive for the enterprise class that comes with the firmware. There used to be a Western Digital tool to load the TLER firmware, but that disappeared when they went to color coding.
Seems both drives should be fine as just for video recording until the drives wear out.
Received this yesterday. Installed Windows 10 Pro x64 freakishly fast. This SSD drive is stunningly fast. Total boot time for my desktop was just 29 seconds. When I had the HDD installed, it took nearly 4 minutes 30 seconds to fully boot up. This SSD gets 5 stars from me.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY THESE MODEL DRIVES. OUT OF THE SIX KC300 DRIVES I HAVE INSTALLED IN DIFFERENT SYSTEMS, 4 HAVE FAILED WITHIN 4 MONTHS.
