Medium deep crimson. Lovely blackberry, dark plum, mulberry aromas with mocha, dark chocolate notes. Well concentrated and minerally with dark plum, mulberry, cranberry fruit, fine plentiful chalky/ grainy tannins and underlying mocha oak complexity. Finishes gravely/chocolaty firm with persistent fruit and freshness. Generous, supple and looseknit in structure with attractive fruit complexity, impact and length. Delicious to drink now, but worth cellaring for the medium term. A very fine vintage.

Crafted from specially selected parcels of rich Barossa grapes the Shiraz offers a bouquet of chocolate, peppeer and plum. Further cellaring this wine for the next ten years and beyond will enable further development and integration.

Simply a delight
22 December 2022

In Dec 2022, I decided I'd see what it had to offer after 22 years - and what a delight it has. Beautiful fruit balance on the palate, soft, not engaging tannins, and a longing for the taste sensation to never end. Only drawback - I only had 1 bottle.
