Nice smooth taste and quite affordable in comparison to high end cognacs. Goes great with an expreso coffee ☕. Can have a sweet undertone and a slight aftertaste but it isn't bitter. Kind of smells and tastes of honey and berries with a bit of oak. Great to cook with or added to mulled wine 🍷.

I found a bottle in the back of my wine cupboard which would have been there for at least a year maybe more, the richness of just sipping it was magnificent while we relaxed.Well worth either hiding a bottle or forgetting one is hidden in the cupboard.
It's a solid brandy, maybe worth 3 stars but I gave it 4 for its incredible value. Not cloyingly sweet like E&J or Christian Brothers, but just enough raisin, dried currant and apricot to make it nice on the rocks or in a hot toddy, my favorite way to drink brandy. You won't find another decent VSOP unless you spend $25 more
The French brand of St Remy was created back in 1886, and, as is Cognac, produced through a double distillation process and then aged in French oak barrels. However, St Remy brandy differs in the fact that the grapes are grown in regions other than Cognac.St-Rémy I think, is easier to drink mouth feel wise than Hennessy and Rémy presents itself a little more spicy and fruity. The palate is very bright with some underlying tannin from the oak.Very clean and not overly complex. Value: This is very decent stuff (and not expensive either).
The aroma and taste have a nice mellow sweetness, reminiscent of honey and berries. There's some slight oaky tannic taste on the finish. For the price this is a darn good brandy, pleasant for sipping, and in my opinion a better value choice for mixing brandy cocktails than a $30+ VSOP Cognac.
I live 5 minutes walk from Casey Central. They haven't had any supplies for months.Same with Eden Rise and Cranbourne. I get the same response. I have to travel all the way to Hallam to get my supplies. Twice I called Liquorland I am not any wiser. What is being done about this ? not happy.
Bought this to make some sangria, and it was a fantastic success. Have also tried it straight, on the rocks, and in my port barrel. I'm not a brandy convert, but I have enjoyed the flavours that I detect with this tipple.
If you’ve only got twenty dollars, BUY THIS!I know you real experts know this isn’t a Cognac because of the region, but the taste is very very close to a Courvoisier. This just has an aftertaste that distinguishes it from the household name cognacs. That aftertaste is not harsh enough to ruin the whole drinking experience.
