When I was a boy (I'm now nearly 82), my Father showed me how to check the accuracy of spirit levels. You check the bubble position and then reverse the level (left to right) and check it again. If the spirit-level is accurate, the bubble is the same in both cases. This level is absolutely spot-on. Perfectly accurate. My Father was a bricklayer and had an old (much used) wooden level that was slightly out. He always checked the level both ways and then bisected the two lines to get a perfect level line. This level is perfect and doesn't need to be "adjusted" in that way. Having read several reviews of Stabila spirit levels, I fully expected the level to be perfect. Excellent tool indeed.I have another modern 1200mm Stabila level as well as a 36 inch one from the 1960s which is still spot on and I really rate them so when I needed 600mm (2 foot) spirit level specifically for a Catio I am constructing, there was only one brand I'd choose and I wasn't disappointed.This spirit level is spot on and very easy to read when in use.I really can't say anything bad about it. If you need one then buy it!

I had to return it. The bottom of the frame was slightly bent resulting in the level readings not being accurate. This bent in the frame would have invalidated the guarantee from Stabilia (as per their Youtube channel). I recommend you check yours for accuracy first before using it or purchasing one that has milled edges for maximum accuracy.
The most handy and accurate level. Well made and pretty robust with known internal system for the bracing of the bubble tube indicators.

Bought after being very pleased with my 1.2 M level.Replaces an old fashioned girder design that harboured mortar and had a recessed horizontal buble sight that caught mortar droppings which obscured vision of bublble.Solid construction, bright visible bubble sights. Yellow body means easy to spot.Robust enough to withstand tapping bricks down with trowel handle, (and ocadionalally dropped.
Top brand, still have a Stabila from the 70's when I started work. One bubble has grown a bit so not so accurate hence bought a replacement, should see me out!
