A brand worth buying again...and again.
I purchased these shoes ( when not on sale ) on my desperate need for a dress shoe for a funeral I went to. I was more than pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they felt! They look great and after trying them on once..I was sold. Looks are exceptional and the cushion inside them only wore out after a heavy use of 3 years. I go through shoes quite often and these have been one of the ones i will definitely purchase again. Stacey Adams..QUALITY JOB WELL DONE!... Show more

Beautiful shoes
This is a beautiful shoe. The highly polished smooth leather and classic design would be appropriate at almost any function or event. The modern cushioning system is truly first rate so far. The modern synthetic sole (probably Neolite) is thick enough that it will likely last a very long time, yet is not overly stiff. I normally wear a 14 E, but ordered this in a 14 EEE thinking it would be better with thick winter socks. The size seems to be a true 14, but the width seems like a regular E. Still, the shoes are more than acceptable, appearance wise, and also for comfort. The workmanship also seems to be first rate. I am a former master cobbler, ( now retired), so I feel qualified to make that statement.... Show more

Beautiful shoes, great quality for price
I bought these shoes recently as I needed some brown shoes to match a gray suit, and loved them. Great quality for a great price, good leather & stitching, soles are great, insoles are comfortable. They are on the longer side but most dress shoes with a point are supposed to run a bit longer but that's okay with me, I stayed true to size and wear them all day no problem. Ive gotten multiple compliments and would recommend them to anybody looking for a pair of nice brown shoes.... Show more

Excellent pair of shoes
I got these in black with the brown soles. If you are looking for a good quality, great-looking,inexpensive pair of shoes, I would HIGHLY recommend this. I've been rocking it now and it simply looks great. It is also very comfortable. Also note that it is not as shiny as the picture makes it out to be, but that is a really good thing.I would definitely buy the brown if I didn't already have something similar.I would also point out that they run kind of long. I am a 12 and I suspect I could have gotten them in 11.5 and they would still fit fine. Either way, i don't mind at all. They are just a fantastic looking pair of shoes.... Show more

Great looking dress shoes ... but
These Stacy Adams Dickinson brown are the sharpest looking dress shoes. The brown in the photo doesn't do the actual shoe justice. It's more of an ombre flow to the brown and looks like straight class. The tan soles look nice as well. They even have a nice cushioned sole inside. Which leads me to my issue with the shoe. If they were so concerned with comfort, the sides and back lip of the shoe rubs quite a bit. I was wearing these in San Diego walking around to meetings and it definitely rubbed the skin off my Achilles heel. I was torn between returning them and keeping them, but they just look so dang nice, I'll suffer through the pain and wear a smile.... Show more

Making the purchase was easy. I tried to make a purchase at
Making the purchase was easy. I tried to make a purchase at a department store but they didn't have my size so tried on other styles to confirm my size. Then took a picture of the style number and looked up online and made my purchase with the Stacy Adam website. I received my very nice shoes in about a week and also had a 20% coupon for my next order.... Show more

Perfect Choice
Style is essential to me. But style cannot give way to quality. There is no value in Something that looks good but does not last long has no real value. When shopping at J. C. Penney, I can have the confidence that I will purchase products that are fashionable and high quality. However, neither style nor durability is of value if you cannot afford the product. But, Penney supplies a solution. Your discounts put products in reach of everyone. I look forward to looking good at affordable prices while staying in style. Thanks.... Show more

Stylish, and reasonably comfortable
I bought these because I need some stylish shoes for casual social occasions. I like them because they don't look like something that would be worn in most professional offices, so the wearer looks more at ease, and can coordinate an outfit. They have leather uppers and hard rubber soles, so they are not as comfortable as sneakers, but they demonstrate that the wearer has more style than the average guy wearing sneakers or more formal dress shoes. I have a wide foot, and my size is about 11.5, but 12 fit well, and there is a bout an inch of toe room.... Show more

Very comfortable shoes for wide feet
I am 6'5 and have size 14, EE feet, so it's often really difficult for me to find shoes, let alone dress shoes. These shoes exceeded expectations. They fit me perfectly, and have a comfy memory-foam insole. I've never worn cap toe shoes before - there is a significant amount of empty space in the front past where your toes end, which was ok, but took some getting used to. The first time wearing them, I scuffed a toe, and now there is a spot on the front that is a different color brown than the rest of the toe, which is frustrating - I don't think there's a way to get it back. I wonder if the darker leather on the toe is just sprayed-on color. Either way, they served me well for the event I wore them to - just taking 1 star off for the color change after one scuff....
