Pros: sufficient thickness in the correct spots - heel and food pad (where socks usually wear out first); comfortable & snug - not too tight around the calf & perfect if you have slightly wider foot pad; warm - thicker than a typical dress sock; durable - they seem to wear well and don't pill or lose their colour.Cons: if you have a narrow foot, there is a bit of 'play' around the foot pad while wearing shoes or boots, but not enough to be annoying; the logo-dilemma - you have to match your socks so that you have the sock's logo on opposite sides of each sock (first-world problem for people with OCD); they are warm when you wear them in boots and leather shoes and can cause sweaty feet in warmer weather (they are a good three season sock).

I own many different brands of running socks and took a chance on these performance ultralight Stance Run Light Crews. I love them! They fit well and the quality is right up there with my favorites. I've been enjoying these socks so much that I just ordered Stance performance light and medium cushion socks to try out as well. Thank you!

I discovered Stance socks a few years ago just randomly in a store while on vacation at the beach. I have bought countless pairs since and probably my favorite socks. Great quality. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend. I have purchased many pairs as gifts also

It's taken me a couple of years to find 'work socks' that I like. I prefer a more athletic style and fit and these are perfect. They're not to thick, not to thin. They're just right. My requirements for socks are simple: 1. No sweaty feet allowed. 2. No slouchy socks allowed. 3. They should look good. Stance socks check all the boxes!
I am new to the company so my review applies to 4 of the 6 pair that I have worn. I was trying to figure out what fit was right for me.Crew socks.I genuinely like them!Tab socks.I like them, but just like the crew socks more. They are not compression socks, but when I wore them it had me wondering if I would like a compression version of these socks. The more interesting part of the journey is the difference in the socks themselves. So far.... I do not like the thin cushion. They slid around in my shoes too much.I have mixed feelings on the performance socks. I am not sure if I was just in the mood to run that day or was the run influence by the performance socks. The medium cushion socks are tolerable and also the best fit. They had me wondering if I would like a high cushion version of the socks.I bought the socks for moisture wicking and anti-microbrial meaning minimizing smelly feet and I think the all version of the socks did well in that area.So for that reason...I would say that the socks are pretty good and I will buy some more.I wish I could send the thin and the performance socks back as I do not like them enough to really keep them.I also wish that Stance offerred an everyday 6 pack version of the socks as I need to replace all of my everyday walking socks. So yes, I recommend the product.
When I saw these sox, I wanted them because the colors would perfectly match one of my gym outfits. I work with a personal trainer in an upscale gym where most clients dress very smartly in their gym attire. While the colors did match, the striping pattern did not line up with each other at the back of the sock. In fact, you can see that the horizontal strips mismatch in the online photo. I also found them extremely tight and confining. Overall, Stance Sox seem to run small. I know that there is to be a certain degree of compression for running and sports, overall, but these are way too restrictive. I think Stance should take a look at their size chart and make a few changes. I am a "perfect" mens size 12, medium width. I think Stance should take a look at their size chart and make a few changes. I am a "perfect" mens size 12, medium width. The Stance size large is tight and restrictive, but is supposed to fit, per the size chart. I am hoping that they will loosen up a bit over time. Nevertheless, they are good quality sox, do wick moisture away, and look good with my matching top and shorts. I would buy them again, only larger.
I own many Stance socks but this is my first of their nylon blend. It feels quite different from their classic cotton, much softer and impression at first touch was of a cheaper less hardwearing fabric. But it's comfy, good cushioning, seems to wear well and weave looks good when stretched onto foot. I mostly buy bright solids and patterns, but everyone needs a black occasionally and this one still has some interest.
I've got several pairs of Stance socks and really love them for the most part. I'm a little between sizes - I'm a 9 and that's the very bottom of the range for L - and I've had better luck sizing up to a L in their socks. This pair is fine, but they're not my very favorite Stance socks. They don't have the L and R built into them which I find really nice on their higher-end socks and they fit more like a dress sock than a super active sock. That said, the materials and details are very high quality and I wear them all the time.
I've been wearing Stance socks for about 6 years. Bought these recently and the quality has steadily gone downhill. They are thinner and less soft than before. I think there have been series of downgrades in quality. They are expensive and previous pairs do not last very long but they were so comfortable that bought them anyway. Maybe the new blend is less comfortable but will last longer. Time will tell. Prefer the comfort factor with higher cotton content and probably won't buy again. Also, the they are longer than they used to be which is also a drawback.
Over the years, my teen son moved away from Nike Elites, complaining that the construction changed where they're either too thick or didn't last. He's a shooting guard. No foot issues. Loves these socks bc of their perfect cushioning & support. They also last years through heavy duty washing & drying. He only wears white so I like the grey soles to help mask any faint stains.I ended up catching these on sale during the holidays & bought a pair for all of his friends.
