All of the Stance sock styles I have purchased are excellent! I am crazy picky about socks & I will be replacing all of my socks with Stance products. I purchased my 1st pair at Boulder Running Co. and loved them. I live outside of Vail, CO and trail run in these socks. If they get wet with snow my feet remain dry and blister free. Now as the weather is getting hot I bought a pair of run tab shorter socks and they have been great! No slipping or blisters. I use my taller pair of Stances for horseback riding. I first wear them with loose barn boots while cleaning stalls, then slip on my tight riding boots. The socks DO NOT slip, my feet remain dry and I have never gotten a blister. I have roughly 20 pair of Stance socks and have loved them all. Because of my experience with the brand, I ordered 8 pair of these and they are the first pairs that I felt were more of a factory second than socks that have the quality I had been used to. It's the first time ordering the Athletic Tab Socks and maybe that's the issue but form and fit just don't seem to be right. Function, is fine.

I love the full length version of this sock, and just picked up the lows for summer. Every bit as comfortable, good looking, padded and luxurious as ever. Tabs at the back don’t run up too high, but enough to protect your Achilles from some chafing. Certainly paying more for these than the 6-packs of variously branded cotton socks I’ve been buying from Winners, etc, but I’m not going back. These are better in every metric and last longer/wash better to boot. Pictured: Size L on Men’s size 12 (Nikes, Converse, etc) foot.

These socks are really fantastic. They're comfy as soon as you put them on. They fit snug but not too tight. The tab on the back of the ankle is really nice to prevent blisters from shoes that are notorious for them (looking at you Converse). The design does get stretched out a bit but like, it's a sock that is completely hidden by your shoe, that doesn't really matter. The padding on these socks is a little thick though so if you have a pair of shoes that is already kinda tight, these socks wont do you any favors.
Purchased a couple pairs when they were deeply discounted last year. Great quality materials and very comfortable with just enough padding in the right contact spots. Also the extended tab at the heel is perfect for protecting your Achilles from rubbing against the heel tab of most running shoes.
I really like the Stance Tab Socks, and these have been my sock drawer go to fav for trail running for a while, but are now also my fav day to day socks. A little cushion in the heels and toes makes these really comfy, and my previous pairs have stood up to the daily wear and tear, plus trail running, and mountain biking. The tab is great, and these socks do not slip down ever!
I'm no connoisseur of socks or habitual writer of reviews, but I really like these socks by Stance and hope Als keeps bringing them in as new colors and patterns are released.I know these are on the spendy end of socks, but the number one most important thing for me with socks is that they don't make my feet stink. I know foot stench is caused by a combination of things like sock and shoe material, sock and shoe breathability, and personal hygiene, but these socks check the box for their part. The fit is great. The height of the socks is great. They are comfortable and seem to be very durable long-lasting socks.
These are my favorite socks of all time. I have always gotten blisters on the back of my heel, regardless of the shoe. The tab on the back of the socks prevent the rough fabric of my shoes from rubbing. The material of the socks also keep my feet dry, so my skin is less prone to blisters all around. The arch support band keep my feet from aching and may also help keep the socks in place; I NEVER have to adjust these socks once they're on. I don't want my adventures to be dulled by annoying aches, blisters, or constant sock adjustments; so these are the only socks I'll wear.
I needed all new socks. Plain, blue no-show socks. I saw these on Facebook and they weren't a fortune so I ordered eight pair. Arrived as I was packing for a trip and through them in without trying them on. They're great. Came and washed them - even better. Love these socks.
Socks wrap nicely around the foot, with just a bit of padding all around. These are not super thin socks, so don't get them if that is what you are looking for. They do not slip down, which is great, but they will show a little above your shoe. As always it's a tradeoff between sliding down your heel and showing.
