Flimsy, poorly designed, with handles that either snap almost damaging a customers floor or that come out of place and smack you in the hand so hard you have to pause to take your breath. Legs are fine but the top, handles and clips are complete rubbish and this won’t last any time at all. The Dewalt version of this is slightly improved but still far from good

At first look these sawhorses seem to be the business. They are Strong, well balanced, easy to set up and they fold up to a nice compact unit for easy transportation.I have just purchased my 2nd set after a year which saw some heavy use for Kitchen worktops, panels and various sheet material. They claim to take a stress load of 340 kilos paired which just seems remarkable. I probably never maxed out over 100 kilos. From new this can be trusted but they soon start to deteriorate. The legs are held in place by pretty weak plastic. On my last set they started to crack after a few months of heavy use which caused them to be less stable until eventually 1 collapsed.I bought a second pair more for convenience and price. They are pretty cheap, much cheaper than the metal equivalents and reviews tell me that they are only good for a year of heavy use too.Overall a good product. Just don't expect them to last forever.

I purchased two sets of these to use to make a shed on. They have a good design and I like the way they clip together as a pair making it easy to carry them. I put two 4.8 m lengths of 109 x 50 timber on them from my shoulder to the stool and they broke in half. Probably good for laying a door on but anything heavier and I would look at the all metal construction

I was initially impressed with these but they have not stood the test of time. Not especially sturdy in protracted use and the plastic stays that stop the legs folding back when in use have gradually snapped off. This means that the whole lot gets quickly unstable and could be downright dangerous. Not recommended for protracted or trade use. My advice is spend the extra money on all metal ones which will have more features like height adjustment, ability to hold different sections and, importantly, strength and reliability
Stanley dropped the ball with this one which is a shame as they are usually very reliable. The fixtures on these are plastic and not at all sturdy which was demonstrated when they arrived already broken. The lifting handle is that shallow that you catch your knuckles whilst trying to carry them on the unrounded interior and my hands are not that big. The holding brackets (again plastic) felt as though they were going to break straight away. And they could hardly be called compact. So much so that you need the shoulder strap to carry them. A real shame but this is not a good item for the price.
Very sturdy pair of sawhorses when assembled. Easy to click together, with handles and strap making them easy to carry around.A bit of care needed when securing legs, make sure they are fully clicked home or the bracket may break. The same goes when closing the legs, make sure plastic strip is filly clicked home.Apart from these couple of niggles, highly recommended.
I needed some lightweight trestles to supplement my Bora Speedhorse set which always end up as a bench for my plunge saw.My first impressions were not favorable. As mentioned by others the plastic clips that hold the legs in are very soft and fragile, likewise the stays that hold the legs apart are also plastic and should have been metal. In practice however the way the trestles clamp together for storage negates any damage and when set up they are very stable. Buy with confidence. I've had them 4 months now and use them every day.I shall not be making any more wooden ones after using these.
Good solid sturdy saw horse!Clip together nice and easilyYou won’t have to worry about these blowing over in the wind whilst carrying a 3.6m worktop.Would definitely recommend
Had to buy theses as i damaged one that a joiner had left lying around on site.He did that much whinging that it was easier to just get him a new one.It turns out that stanley have not changed the design in years so i was able to replace the damaged top on the 400 yr old one that the joiner got as a present for completing his apprenticeship. The joiner was thus able to carry on using his saw horse for its 2 primary functions1. A rest for cutting wood2 . A barricade for doorways and walkways on sitei have also successfully repaired the broken one so i now have a set of new horses one of which has an old repaired top. Il never use em but at least my actions have restored peace and harmony to the site.thankyou stanley for not changing the design of your ... MoreHad to buy theses as i damaged one that a joiner had left lying around on site.He did that much whinging that it was easier to just get him a new one.It turns out that stanley have not changed the design in years so i was able to replace the damaged top on the 400 yr old one that the joiner got as a present for completing his apprenticeship. The joiner was thus able to carry on using his saw horse for its 2 primary functions1.
