Here’s a pro tip from a DIY’er... The saw comes with far less tension than required to saw through metal. Give the thumb screw a few turns until the blade is securely taut. Then it will work just fine.

This item saved me a ton of money. From cuting blinds, making sawcut to remove a stuck plumbing nipple to cuting locks I had lost the keys to, I didn’t expect it to be this useful.

Saw blade tension must be adjusted after purchase. This is not apparent until I tried to cut through a metal strip.

Bought this today to cut the colorbond downpipe, was told that it will work fine but it did not work at allBlades will move forward but not backward
It worked a lot better than I thought it would for what I had used it for I used it to cut off the bottom of our Christmas tree this year and we had a huge one so I didn't think that the saw would work but it worked beautifully I was really impressed it's very durable
I find this hack saw. To one of the better ones out there. There are times when a powered saw doesn’t work for the application The time inane used this saw it has never let me down
