Stanley 66-052 Precision Screwdriver Set

I received one of these several years back in a larger set of screwdrivers. I find I needed one in my shop tools and another in the house so I did not have to keep taking the one set back and forth, so I bought this second set to keep in my house when working on computers, and the older set stays outside in my shop tools for when I need one there. I like the magnetic tips that keep steel screws in place until they reach the holes. I also like that it comes in a stronger plastic case than another cheaper set I once bought that has since broke by simply dropping it to the floor. Not a fancy case or handles, but both function well even though made of plastic. I liked this set enough to get a second set in this order.

I was looking for a set of Precision sized screwdrivers to use on a laptop that I needed to replace a laptop hard drive with and this set worked perfectly. They are compact and sturdy. I have added it to my computer repair kit bag, and they work great. So much better than a set of eyeglass screwdrivers. So glad that the store had them in stock.

Despite having a broad selection of tools, I found I needed a smaller screw driver that was really strong to loosen some screws that were machine tightened. Home Depot did not have this small a set of screw drivers so on off chance I stopped next door and found exactly what I wanted at a very low price. I did fear the screw driver might not be tough enough to loosen the screw, but it breezed through the job undamaged. An excellent purchase from an unexpected source.
