Don’t get me wrong, I really like Stanley products and their exceptional quality. However, these pliers did let me down while removing a brake drum spring. The locking action broke and they are difficult to use now, up until that point they were amazing. I also own the 10 and 12 inch sized which have held up much better.

Bought this a few years back. Hardly used it. One time i used it for unscrewing a 1 inch steel socket. Had to use a lot of force and the plier slipped. Since then every time you try to use it it snaps. It all seem to look ok,but it is useless now. Should have stuck with knipex!!!!

Its a Stanley, built to last. This is a go to tool. Tight grip with comfortable feel !
They seem heavy duty, it's just the jaw is slightly loose on mine making it slightly off center. Buy, that doesn't seem to effect them.
bought online to remove tap nut. only issue the jaws only meet as a tip not a flat surface.
