Fantastic, hits all my needs!
Love the Ocean Tie Dye, simply beautiful to see sitting on my desk which catches my eye and gets me to drink more water! This style of cup was exactly what I was looking for in a water vessel- as an overthinker I contemplated the style to fit my need. It is a bit heavy but I don’t carry it constantly it usually sits, I fill it with frozen iced tea ice cubes then liquid iced tea and there’s some ice at the end of the day but most importantly my drink is always freezing cold which was my apex objective so I’m super happy all around. People who worry about leaks around the straw I don’t really get because it’s not an issue for me but perhaps they should consider a different, more enclosed top? If it’s too heavy, size down? Easy to clean nightly. This is a top notch ... MoreLove the Ocean Tie Dye, simply beautiful to see sitting on my desk which catches my eye and gets me to drink more water! Great cup
I really just got this to see what all the hype was about, I happen to be on targets website and they were available and I had been wanting one so I figured why not?! Overall yes it is a nice cup, color is pretty and I like the handle on this one compared to other cups(different brands) it’s thick and easy on the hand, also like that the straw hole has the rubber grip things that keep it in place and keeps it sealed more. There really are no cons on this just maybe more of preferences different people may or may not like. It is much heavier then my other cups when filled up and I’m on the go with it, so I like this one better for at home. It definitely did not keep my ice for 24 hours or any longer then any of my other similar cups of different brands. I still ... I still recommend it though if you can get one, what I don’t get is why resellers are buying these all up and then selling them for $60-$130 what I really don’t get is why people are paying that? It’s a pretty cup but geez… I’ve seen people really upset about all the resellers and their prices and the solution is don’t buy from them and let them have their massive cup collection they can’t move! There will always be more released and cool colors!... Show more

Hydrated in the desert.
Finally got my hands onto one of these tumblers and I must say, it is a pretty cool tumbler. It is HUGE compared to any other tumbler that I own though. Think Big Gulp times 3 and add about 3 pounds to the weight of the cup PRIOR to adding your ice and liquid. I originally got the tumbler because let’s be honest. TikTok… and the fact that I collect tumblers. But this one although it’s size is very large and a bit awkward especially if you think you can travel and stroll with this one..I know will encourage me to pick up my water intake. Living in the desert this tumbler will get plenty of use. Now with it guaranteed to keep your cold beverages cold for 11 hours, Iced drinks for 2 days and hot beverages for 7 hours, the price is justified. Plus it’s a cute looking ... I don't typically write reviews....I usually read them. However, I thought I would go out of my way to write how happy I am with this tumbler. Christmas 2020 my husband got me a hydro flask and while I absolutely loved it....I somehow lost it at the gym or at work, something like that. Since then I've been so hesitant to spend another 50 bucks on a water bottle, so I haven't! Lately, though, I've seen people with these Stanley cups and I thought I would try it out, for 10 bucks less I thought why not. WOW. AM I IMPRESSED. The handle makes the biggest difference. I know it looks a little neurotic, but it just works! it's great for the car! keeps my drinks ice cold for 24 hours. NO JOKE. I really like the size and how it fits in my car along with handle. I’ll agree the ice won’t stay in cube form all day, but your water will stay cold. I’ve had ice water that I forgot about mid day and by morning the ice is gone, but drink is cold. For me this is totally oaky since I’m just drinking water and doesn’t matter if melting ice. If the cup tips it can leak, but honestly I’ve never had an issue. I don’t store it in my bag and if I did need a bag one I’d use a different one. It’s a great container. If the price is steep then get a different, there is a lot of hype with them. I’ve been a Stanley user for 10 years so it was already a brand I used and won’t say I get the hype. I have a couple other ones from different brands I like to. I use this depending on ... MoreI really like the size and how it fits in my car along with handle. My new favorite tumbler
I decided to finally jump on the wang because I’m one those who collected water bottles and tumblers I’m happy I waited though because it seems like they have made improvements with keeping the straw in place, handle seems like it’s better quality then when they first came out and I like the clear top so I can see how much liquid I have left. It is heavy when full but I love it for filling it and sipping through out the day at work or having it by my bedside at night. If you plan on being active don’t bring this as your source of water as it might spill and it’ll be heavy just not ideal for toting around. I don’t love it though though for the convenience of not having to fill multiple times. I might purchase one more when more colors come out I really want a neutral ... Anyways long post hope it helps someone decided if it’s worth it or not.... Show more

REALLY close to perfect!
I remember my Grandparents and Parents using Stanley when I was a kid, a tried and true brand. I wasn’t looking for the cup but it really caught my eye walking by it in the store. I saw the price and kept going. One of the girls in my class the following day had one and raved about it. I went back today and was truly lucky to get one. I love that it holds 40oz, has a handle, fits in my car cup holder and has a straw as I drink so much more water with a straw. My previous favorite cups/bottles that held 40oz were too heavy and awkward to hold not to mention there is never a good place in the car to access them. I have found myself inadvertently grazing the mouth area with my purse etc as it’s kinda just sticking up there, seems a bit unsanitary. It’d be cool if ... It’d be cool if separate lids were offered with a flip straw for those that might like them. For now I will probably swap the straw out for an angled metal one with a silicone tip. Trying to stay as far away from plastic as possible, at least the parts that are constantly in the water. I will likely buy another one for my son that really loves tie dye and straw cups (if I’m able to find one). I have purchased a disturbing amount of water bottles/cups in my quest for the perfect cup. This is REALLY close to perfection.... Show more

Reluctant Convert
As an enneagram 4 I tend to not want to follow the crowd… but sometimes you put your pride aside and just do it. I’d been loving my reuse cups, 40oz and 50oz but with a new baby in tow neither fit in my graco stroller cup holder so when the new drop came out i curbside ordered this baby to see the hype. I also ordered a second just in case the curbside couldn’t be fulfilled (3rd kid, I’m not dragging all three inside not even for a Stanley) we’ll both got fulfilled and I’m keeping both. Things I love, it’s tall so my hand can wrap around it easier than the reduce one, fits perfectly in my stroller cup holder that was fitting a 17oz water bottle in diameter. And the straw holder has a rubber slot which makes for a smoother drinking experience. I do love that the ... I do love that the reduce straw holder is in the middle of the lid vs the Stanley one closer to the edge because i have to position it more intentionally when I drink it but it’s like literally not a big deal just have to throw the reduce brand some love. I hit the citron tie dye which I’m obsessed with, I really want blue too but it sold out first, i have peach tie dye on the way. It’s great, if you are stubborn like me, don’t be.... Show more

tragically dented
It’s beautiful. lovely. wonderful. I’m so glad that I waited until this color came out before finally buying a Stanley. Tragically, it is dented on the bottom, making it wobble and possibly compromising the insulation. It doesn’t appear to be a shipping issue, but a quality control in the factory issue. This, I will be returning. I I am so very sad about this because it’s out of stock, and I had already waited while it was out of stock to buy this one. Luckily, I was up late after a night out, to buy this one when the back in stock alert came on around four in the morning. I don’t know that i’ll be so lucky next time. Because citron tie-dye is going for around $70-90 from resellers. Target, I don’t know what y’all are doing as far as purchase quantity limits online, ... MoreIt’s beautiful. lovely. wonderful. Unbelievable greed
Well the cup itself is great. I was finally able to get my hands on one after I completely missed the last drop in December. Even though it's not the one I wanted. I was looking forward to getting one of the pretty tie dye colors but was so disappointed when I showed up to my local target at 9 am 3/12 to find there was only 2 white ones left on the shelf. As I walked up to get one a very rude woman tried grabbing both in front of me. I took one and she was so angry telling me how she wants to try and re sell so she can provide for her family. I said yeah right and took it. But what bothered me as I walked though the store is I saw MULTIPLE people with CART FULLS and handfuls of Stanley's. Just unbelieveable how they took them all. Target needs to restock and prevent people from buying more than 1. I left with the plain white one while I watched a ton of people all with 5 to 10 Stanley's. Thats just extremely pitiful....
