Bought this drill set about two weeks ago. Very good drill set. Would recommend it to anybody. Good batteries last a long time
Had these a few weeks now, I use them most days and found the batteries hold their charge for a long time. I've only had to re-charge once.
Bought around 6 months ago from Wanaka Mitre 10. Used frequently over that time. One battery failed after a week. The other failed recently, after 6 months of use. The drill has never properly worked. Poor power and trigger gets stuck. The impact driver worked well while the batteries were alive. I bought Stanley Fatmax because I had previously used a drill from this brand that was very well constructed and performed very well. It’s obvious to me that this brand has decided to reduce its build quality, durability and performance over the years. If you want a lasting quality product that won’t fail you then look at one of the more reliable brands. I love this set, I brought mine over a year ago and it's still going strong, I've used them on a roof job replacing her screws, I love how they have performed. So I've invested in more Stanley Fatmax products.
Used both the drill and impact driver on a week long build and they both performed very well, overall the batteries lasted a day and a half and charged quickly, good power and torque on both machines. Happy with my purchase.
It is the best option in the balance of price and quality. excellent for all types of project. There is no better tool kit like this and that is cheaper than this.
