Starbucks by Nespresso Original Line Caffè Verona Dark Roast Coffee 10 Pods (120 Count, Pack of 12)

I was very excited to try Starbucks at Home with Nespresso. I love my Starbucks visits and I love my Nespresso for which I’ve only bought genuine Nespresso pods. The aroma was very inviting and with depth. Unfortunately for me this is where it ends. I found the taste too bitter and that overpowered tasting any flavour. I regularly have Roma and Arpeggio from Nespresso so I do enjoy strong coffee but I prefer something I can taste more of the different notes of flavour of the coffee. I found it was fine to use in my at home pumpkin spice latte with almond milk. I’d definitely try other pods in the Starbucks at Home range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Received my Starbucks pods through VoxBox and I was extremely eager to try these! I have stuck to Nespresso ever since getting my machine - but I did have high expectations as I am a fan of Starbucks as a chain. I tried all 3 flavors, and I honestly found these pods so smooth and creamy, with the same great coffee flavor that Nespresso provides. I love how these are also so easily accessible in supermarkets and so affordable especially on sale. I would definitely try out other capsules from the range. I rated this particular flavor one star less just because I prefer my coffee weaker!

Love these! Easy at home treat for yourself. Extra delicious with some foam of milk or favorite creamer! The package is very sleek and not excessive. Price is cheaper then going through the drive thru! Easy at home brew treat.

I loved it when these came out. Quality was great and such a convenience to not have to order at a kiosk in the Galleria here in Houston or the Internet. I went to my closet Target. These little pods are perfect! You always get that fresh coffee aroma in just a few minutes to brew. One delicious cup at a time! ☕️

Great cup of great coffee

I received this item to sample and write my honest review. I am a coffee drinker and loved this coffee. I rarely go to Starbucks so this was the first time seeing and trying this flavor and let me tell you that the taste is wonderful. It's balanced, bold but has no bitterness. I start my day with my favorite cup of Starbucks Caffe Verona. I will go out and buy some extra boxes. I will tell my family and friends to go buy them some. Actually I will give them a small taste of the coffee and after they taste it Iknow they will go buy some for themselves.

Simply delicious!

I do not normally drink dark roast coffee but this Starbucks Caffe Verona attracted me because of the “dark chocolate & burnt sugar notes” description on the box. And guess what? Yes! to the dark chocolate note and Yes! to the burnt sugar note which is weird that it tastes so good because burnt sugar isn’t exactly a flavor you want. It has a hint of dark chocolate and sugar and is smooth and not too heavy of an intensity that I want to drown it with cream. And it smells HEAVENLY brewing. My house smelIs like a Starbucks cafe and with a Nespresso Vertuo it was easy as pie. I would highly recommend this dark roast Caffe Verona to anyone (including fellow blonde roast drinkers like me).

The best pods

I love these. I just love coffee in general, particularly the act of making a cup of coffee in any and all forms. We have a Nespresso machine in our office and wanted to try something different so got these. They're so good! I love the taste, and I feel like I'm getting an actual Starbucks drink. It's actually too easy to drink a bunch of cups so I need to limit myself. I drink it black, or with just a splash of oat milk or oat milk creamer. No need for sugar. Highly recommend trying these, particularly if you're a Starbucks aficionado!

Very bold flavor and a huge crema cap.

Starbucks Caffe Verona Nespresso Vertuo capsules deliver the intensely bold taste of a coffeehouse espresso with the ease of an automatic machine. No measuring or tamping or cleanup necessary. The packaging is designed to protect the capsules without being difficult to access: there is an easy-open pull tab that creates a large flap like the hood of one's car. Inside, each capsule is nestled in its own little niche. Each cup has produced a very tall cap of cream - about 3/4 inch! Generally I prefer a somewhat lighter roast. This one is very intense and will doubtless get you going!
