First I put this card into a PCIe 3.0 4x slot slot, the second one from the CPU. Neither BIOS nor Windows recognized the card. I moved it the next, and last, PCIe 3.0 4x slot and it worked. Makes no sense, but that is what happened here. No instructions in the box so do your own research before buying. It is not USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, (20 GBs) the speed is consistent at about 5 GBs.

Installed this in a 5 year old unit with only USB 3.0. Before the 1tb ScanDisk external was getting only 457/438 read/write speeds. Had to attach with the C Plug on the ScanDisk and an C>A adapter to get into computer (no C outlets on this unit. After installing this board and attached it with C>C wire it is getting 1683/1722 - yes it is writing a little faster than reading in all categories. Can't beat this for a simple, inexpensive (~$50) upgrade to one of our old units.
Performed as advertised using card in a Gen 3X4 PCIe slot. Benchmarked using a KT1685P3 MAIWO 20Gbps M.2 NVME enclosure and a 1TB Intel 670P NVME hard drive.
Picked this up because my motherboard USB-C did not charge my Quest 2 while playing, this card does. 2.2 GBps transfer speed as well.
Very fast! I had to reboot my computer once, but after that it is just as fast as the Motherboard C port. The only thing I don't like is the old style capacitor that could get bent off a lot more easily than the solid small capacitors that you see on the newer cards. I don't know why they choose older capacitor on a new device and for the cost of the card they should have used the newer technology, but since the card works so well, this is more of an observation than a complaint. This card replaced a FedSmart card that was trouble from the start. I do recommend this card if you need an extra rear C port!
Works great!!! Back up my SSD HD in 1/7 the time. Of course this to another SSD drive.
