Mounted this ON a friend's work truck, in Vegas, while it was still hot. Roadside dust and direct sun on it all day. Never missed a beat. Operated just fine, even when the outer case was hot enough to burn skin!Was going to use it as part of an in vehicle system, but it was hijacked by a friend that had a need... Now permanently wall mounted in a friend's garage/maker-space as the link between the work area, and the "relatively clean" area. It gets dusty and dirty, already paint flecked too. But, the best part: It gets heavy use by all the kids that use his garage, and it's already outlived the lifespan of numerous other hubs!I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
