Read an article about the awards Starward had won, so ordered a bottle - it is an absolute corker! As a single malt fan, this is an absolute winner for me. Slightly oaky, smooth and gentle and with a sweetish finish. Loved it so much I’ve already ordered a second bottle - I think this love affair will be a long one.
So smooth and wonderful - I only wish my Dad could taste it as he loved his whiskey ( only 2 fingers mind you each night and he lived til 96 ! )A taste sensation
Fortis has such depth in the lingering flavour.
I normally drink my whisky at room temperature but I found when you add ice to the Fortis it unlocks a while range on new flavours. One of the best whisky’s I have ever had the privilege to drink!
This is a superb whiskey in every sense. Though by no means a connoisseur it’s the best tasting whiskey I’ve tried.
