This costs much less than the Le Creuset pot with the same design. It’s a beautiful red colour and I like that we can use it for cheese, oil, broth or chocolate. It can go on induction stove top to melt the cheese. And the pot won’t slide off the holder because there is an indentation to hold the pot in a stable position. The only down side is that once the flame container is locked into place, you cannot adjust the flame holes all the way because the handle bumps against the column.

This costs much less than the Le Creuset pot with the same design. It’s a beautiful red colour and I like that we can use it for cheese, oil, broth or chocolate. The color was perfect and the overall quality is outstanding. It keeps the cheese perfect temperature while easy to access. The fork picks that come with the product are well made. It is great that we can preheat the pot so you don’t have to wait very long for the cheese to melt.
It would have been informative if you had told that this is a miniature fondue pot. What good is that for a holiday get-together? The picture looks like a traditional fondue pot, so you need to designate "miniature" for your naive purchasers like me.My daughter said that the entire pot fits in her hand.
I actually bought this 30 years ago in Davos after being served fondue at a restaurant in this pot - and it started my Staub obsession. The fondue pot, as with all other Staub products, is a work horse. I'm sure all of my pieces will out live me & probably my daughter, too!
