I bought these headlights recently from stedi online. The 7 inch carbon headlights are sold as singles. This is not stated in a visible place on the web page, but at the bottom of the page in small writing which is easily missed. I ordered these headlights with the canbus module, however when the parcel arrives after a week or so, i discovered i was only sent one headlight. I had to go back to the website and read carefully to find the small writing which says there is one headlight included. I had to order another headlight as cars have 2 headlights. This brought the cost to about 450 dollars. If i knew the he headlights were this much i wouldn't have bought them. These lights should be sold as a pair or at the minimum it should be stated in the description that ... MoreI bought these headlights recently from stedi online. Abit sneeky if you ask me as many customers would buy one and then realise they have to spend another 180 dollars on another headlight.

My mate purchased a Light Bar from Stedi for approximately $350 and commented at how much better this performed against $1,200+ Led Spot Lights he had purchased from a well known Led producer.Well it was time to upgrade the very average 7” headlights of my Jeep JK Wrangler. The majority of Jeep forums recommended the 7” Stedi variants of Led headlights available.I purchased these and they arrived several days later and installed straight away. These were a simple direct swap with a great spread and intensity to match. My wife did comment on high beam being quite narrow, but was very strong for an Led.The quoted 5700k rating appears to be a good colour, the light penetration is respectable. I have purchased other Led lights for other projects that have a 6500k rating and do not penetrate much past 30 metres. One thing i have noticed is that these lights on my Jeep do flash a little and is due to the Cam Bus System and not an issue of these lights. This is something i am going to fix by adding a capacitor to Jeep lighting harness which im informed should fix this problem.

I hunted for weeks before I opted to purchase these lights. I investigated all 7" LED lights that were available. Many claiming to be ADR compliant were not (based on mis-information they gave me about their lights). These are great lights. They have a RHD light pattern. Driving on a 'divided road' at night with the high beam on, oncoming traffic do not flash at you and you have a well lit view of the left side of the road and nature strip. Clearly the light pattern is well designed. They fitted perfectly in my Jeep Wrangler. They are not 'dual beam' when you have the high beam on... but this isn't an issue as they have a common light spread between high and lo beam (coming from the 4 extra vertical LEDs) which acts as a low directed flood light.I can highly ... MoreI hunted for weeks before I opted to purchase these lights. I have tried LED upgrade light globes from two different sources without success. I have had many years of reliable service from my Stedi driving lights so when I saw that Stedi headlight replacements were available, the choice was clear.Installation was easy and the result is spectacularly better headlights on both low and high beam and a smart-looking “halo” parking light. I’m a very satisfied customer. Thank you.
The good.. Firstly the low beam is superior lots of light with a wide spread. High beam is good fairly bright without having Reflections of road signs blinding back at you. Although a little brighter would have been nice. I still have a set of cubie 7 inch driving lights when I want things to light up more at a distance. But for the average driver these (almost) drop in replacements do a great job.The bad - if you own a gq patrol you will need to bend the back of the aiming bracket as the lights foul with the bracket which will not allow the light assembly to sit flush. For me it was a simple fix but for somebody not technically minded it could be a challenge. No need to buy expensive light loom upgrade kits, these will happily run on stock looms. Quality and build of the leds feel and look great, the H4 adaptor is easy as plugging it in. Lights have great brightness less warmth than the bulbs but nice.Only the plug pins from the led to H4 do not quite fit snug enough. Had to clamp and use self fusing tape. Also the eyelet on the H4 unit was not designed with enough space to fit a washer. Small detail but quite frustrating, you'd fine think this would be thought through when designing it. Fine made it work but a few extra mills would be good.
Purchased a set of replacement headlights for a Hdj79. Easy as to fit just a couple of push together fittings and finished. Didn't need to remove housing either. Turn lighs on and the old ute can now see the same as those new 4wds. Very happy indeed and fast delivery and all those great claims they made came true. lve bought from you guys before and the minor warranty claim had was completed extremely promptly. Thanks again guys. Cheers Brad
Fit the 7" LED Headlights to a 96 Land Rover Discovery. The difference is amazing went from dim candles to bright usable lights, the construction of the lights are very well done hard to fault. The colour of the light is white with a slight blue tinge, they have an excellent beam pattern with a nice hot spot in the middle of the light, this makes aiming the light very easy so you don't blind on coming traffic. The hi-beam is excellent like having spotlights on. I highly recommend these lights for the price.4 Stars some slight improvements could be a sturdier water proof plug and a warmer light, but honestly very happy excellent product.
Purchased these for a 1978 Ford F100. I received them within 48 hours, very fast shipping from Stedi. Fitment was very simple, a case of removing the old original lamps and fitting these into their place. I needed to fit crimped connections for the parking/daytime running lamps but easily done and everything worked straight away. These lights are beyond my expectations; they look really good on the '78 truck, not an original look but they suit the vehicle and give it a very cool modern touch. The light performance - the really important bit- is excellent. The old original lamps were very dim; these are bright and clear, exceptional low beam with a good distribution out to each side as well as forward. As an occasional country driver I would happily rely on these rather than bother to fit extra driving lights.Highly recommend these to replace standard 7" round lights.
it has to be said despite the cons these are unquestionably better lights than the stock ones.the great parts:-the beam has a clear cutoff line that extends way out to the sides of the road whigh gives a great field of view-the pool of light from these is really even, no distractingly bright hotspots for the most part.-the units themselves are easy to install, took me maybe 30mins-day runnings lights are a legitimate upgrade to my troopys functionality-they look sick, like, really good. the day running lights almost make my troopy look kawaii-Being LED the amps draw is less than half of the old sealed beams, which is easier on the alternator, and if I forget to turn them off it'll take longer to flatten the battery on methe less great parts:-the light ... Moreit has to be said despite the cons these are unquestionably better lights than the stock ones.the great parts:-the beam has a clear cutoff line that extends way out to the sides of the road whigh gives a great field of view-the pool of light from these is really even, no distractingly bright hotspots for the most part.-the units themselves are easy to install, took me maybe 30mins-day runnings lights are a legitimate upgrade to my troopys functionality-they look sick, like, really good. the day running lights almost make my troopy look kawaii-Being LED the amps draw is less than half of the old sealed beams, which is easier on the alternator, and if I forget to turn them off it'll take longer to flatten the battery on methe less great parts:-the light quality (despite being so bright) is pretty bad, orange and browns wash out to grey and white street signs have a lot of glare- the CANBUS module has noticeably lower build quality than the actual lights, and theres no easy mounting point for them so they might involve a trip to the hardware store- the lenses are super easy to scratch, marks from sticks and rocks show up pretty easy (I don't mind much but harder material would have been great)-high beams are more of a spotlight than a high flood light, and somehow one sides high beam is narrower than the other with my two lights.overall if I had more money I would have got a glass H4 reflector housing and used a more traditional LED bulb with better quality light, but I'm certainly not dissapointed with these Carbons, they're good value for money and such a huge safety improvement being able to see clearly at night that it's still well worth it for me.
