Recently did a low and high beam upgrade in my 200 series Landcruiser - 2008 model. I had previously upgraded to higher output halogens which produced a slightly newer version of dull yellow than the original, but I still found it dangerous driving on back roads at any speed even with high beam on. These STEDI LED upgrades have totally transformed night driving in this vehicle, and now the gently brilliant white of these LEDS's make the drive much more safe and much less fatiguing. 10 out of 5 for this purchase.

Our Toyota Fortuner is a great car but has always had dismal lights. Since putting these lights in (we replaced both low and high) it has made a world of difference. I now feel much safer driving at night on our rural roads especially with on coming traffic. We have only had them in for a few weeks and so far, no problem. They were a bit fiddly to fit but we took our time and were successful. Would definitely recommend.

The product was shipped promptly and communicated well.Installing was also easy enough after checking on the web to ensure nothing gets forgotten.Following the instructions it all fitted just right.The difference of light after the installation of the Stedi kit was like night to day. It left me wondering when I would get flashed by another driver because of the brightness. So, the tip is to make sure you have the light beams set at the correct levels before venturing out in order to avoid angry drivers around you because these globes are bright.

Ordered in the morning, I received notification that they were on their way that afternoon so all good there. Australia Post, on the other hand, took a day longer than I thought necessary to get the parcel from one side of Melbourne to the otherInstallation was easy following the online instructions and they simply worked, no dramas whatsoever.Gone is the yellow puddle of light that my old halogens provided and now I have a better light set up on my 2017 Subaru Outback. The low beams on this car, as original equipment, are excellent and only serve to show how bad the original high beams were. All fixed now!I also swapped out the interior and door lights for LEDs. Much better now.
Globes and kits were advertised as being to suit a PX2 Ranger; when attempted to install, low beams globes emitted a loud beeping noise indicating an error and are unable to be fitted without additional parts and programming that are mentioned nowhere on the site (CAMBUS). High beam LED conversion kits are far too large (long) to fit inside factory headlight and dust cover, major alterations to the dust cover would be needed to make them fit, as well as additional CAMBUS programming. $300 wasted on globes that won’t fit into the vehicle they were “made for”. Unfortunately only found the reviews that highlight these issues after purchasing and attempting to install.
I have a Mitsubishi Triton MR 2019.Final result with these globes is fantastic, far superior than the factory ones, and would absolutely be a 5 star review if it were not for the difficult install.Who'd think changing a headlamp would be difficult? Not me, but these are an absolute nightmare. They need to be forced in past the reflector, and are very difficult to twist into place with the copper loops attached. The loops and driver are jam packed inside the sealed headlight unit.But Stedi's customer service with these lamps has been great - they even offered a refund acknowledging these are a tight fit in the Mitsubishi's.They're worth the price, the end result is fantastic, but my god, prepare yourself.
Very good quality product with everything in the kit. Have installed & tested in the garage at this stage, all OK with what appears to be excellent light output.The only issue I have with these is the long copper tails which do look a bit untidy in the engine bay which ever way you bend them. They do take up quite a bit of space. The original HB3 Hilux globes fit directly into the back of the headlight assembly, there is no rubber cover or protection to fit over the rear of the globe which makes it easier to do a bulb change. This is the only issue I have.I will do a good open road test later in the year when I do my annual Cairns Brisbane run.Thank you, Allan J.

It was well worth the money and effort as I'm now enjoying a nice even white beam during normal driving and super bright high beam when needed. These lights make night driving less strain on the eyes.Installation was straight forward once I figured out the best location for the small box that also allowed enough space for the Copperhead straps to fit under the light's rear cover.A 2-pack of Philips ultra bright halogens is about $70 and they don't last long at all, so these LEDs are a steal even at twice the price if they last as long as they say they do. I was so sick or replacing halogen bulbs every 12 months when I really don't do that much night driving. During the last floods i got the call from my wife that water was coming into the house, i was in nsw at sofala it was a 12 hour drive home but i head off and once i hit the storm near warwick the standard lights on the ranger were just dangerouse. I couldnt see safely and had to sit in the left lane many times at 80km. Once i made it back i did a little research and came accross STEDI straight away i could see the quality so i ordered upgrades for both driving and high beam, these arrent the first leds ive run on a 4wd but they are the best. The spread is so much clearer and when you do alot of km you really cant beat the peace of mind that comes with a good led upgrade.
