SteelSeries Aerox 3 Gaming Mouse - Onyx

I have never used a gaming mouse before. I am not a serious gamer but this mouse is super cool. It have rainbow lights which are so pretty and mesmerising. As well as this it is very lightweight. I assume it would be portable. It was easy to connect to my laptop. It’s a bit expensive for a mouse in my opinion but I recommend it for normal people. But I don’t know if it would be good for serious gamers.

I received this mouse and wow! The colours are pretty, it glides easily and you can see the components inside. It's by far the best mouse I have seen!

I received the Aerox 3 wireless gaming mouse, by the Steelseries brand as a complimentary gift, through Influenster app. Once unpacked it was obvious that this was a a game changer. It’s sleek design and ultra light weight was a joy to use.

I wanted to switch to a wireless mouse, and a light one. This mouse ticked both of those boxes so I purchased it over a year ago. It has seen extensive usage and I can say its great. I opt to use no LED lighting as the battery drains much faster with lighting enabled. I can use this mouse all day for 4-5 days before it requires recharging.

Why have I never had a cordless mouse before? This product has changed everything for me and my perception on wireless peripherals. Robust design with nice clicks buttons. The mouse is fully customisable. The integrated software is fast and responsive and setup was a breeze. The battery life is fantastic. I don't think I've charged it in a few days and it's going strong still. The charge cable is a nice tough braided design so feels strong. The wireless transmitter can be placed anywhere as I use it in conjuction with the charge cable. The lights on the mouse look fantastic and can be seen in the light or dark of day, these are also customisable in the software. I'll be using this mouse for a long time to come and already looking into other steel series products.

Mouse has a quality feel to it the lights give it bit more of a appeal to younger generation speed and design nice I was using for normal pc was a bit annoying it switches it self off when not using for a while but overall great mouse

Absolutely love this mouse, superb for gaming sits really nicely in your hand. Very reactive. Battery life is exceptional and with a great length cable if you prefer wired connection. Looks and feels stylish.

Pros: It's light weight, very responsive and looks good. The vented palm rest I thought sas just too let light through but it actually stops you getting swetty palms so a bonus.Cons: I thought you could unplug the usb cable and use it cordless but it appears its just so you can change the cable if it gets damaged which is a shame, but still good if you damage your cable.

Lightweight and funky.

Outstanding. Performs far above its paygrade. Good selection of RGB if thats your thing, lightweight.

Sensor Problem

I bought this mouse for Christmas and it lasted me for a month until the mouse sensor started to bug while (only) playing games, it started to skip around randomly and go crazy when I moved it. I thought this was a problem with my PC but I switched back to my old mouse to see if there was a problem with my SteelSeries mouse and to my surprise it was. I do not recommend this mouse since its quality is really really poor for how much this thing cost. If your buying this mouse without a discount (e.g. during black Friday) you should buy the Logitech G Pro X Superlight instead.
