Great gaming laptop. I am very pleased with my purchase. Games run smooth and so far I haven't had a game that has not performed well. I feel like this laptop is very highend for gaming but I still tweak around the graphics settings to keep the fans running low. The fans do sound a bit loud if you put the laptop under stress. But the airflow is superb. I thought the 15.6" screen was going to feel small compared to other gaming laptops, but I am glad I didn't go for a bigger screen because is discreet and I don't feel like I'm carrying a monster laptop. The laptop is also very lightweight without compromising quality. I do recommend this laptop.

Not everyone will like the limited mouse space if you really do play hardcore. Get the large. But I'd also like to point out the main photo isn't accurate. It doesn't say 'steelseries' on the mousepad itself.Back: covered with many small Steelseries logos, very grippy. This will not budge while you use it.Side: No stiched edging, whether you like that or not.Front: Good control and glide (slightly angled towards glide).Material: Durable, will last years, I'm sure. I've seen this mousepad last years for other people before as well. You could get a Razer mousepad at this price, but you'll get a more sturdy product at this price with this mousepad.

Mousepad is great, doesnt have any cool features like RGB but in a market where RGB is at least an extra $30 for a mousepad it is honestly fine. Material as described, does the job and is smooth. Good space for gaming considering i play on a lower sensitivity so i move my mouse more and I typically do not run into problems regarding space. Just be aware that overtime it does collect a bit of dust which isn't easy to clean. Pricing is a bit much for something like a mousepad but considering that all decent mousepads are more expensive than they should be it is reasonable. It is also fairly thick which isnt too bad but it does appear a little clunky on your desk so if you want a clean setup with your keyboard and PC then i suggest going for an extended mousepad to ... MoreMousepad is great, doesnt have any cool features like RGB but in a market where RGB is at least an extra $30 for a mousepad it is honestly fine. Have been using this for about a year now and have notice absolutely no problems regarding wear over time and the only noticeable problem being the dust gathered over time that is hard to remove. Nevertheless, product is as described and does the job fine

The QcK is one of the best mousepads of all time. There's a reason why SteelSeries has sold over 10 million of them. I purchased my first one in 2007 after a friend of mine recommended it to me. I still have it and still use it almost every day at work. After it started to exhibit some issues with the rubber underneath it after many thousands of hours of usage, I demoted it to work usage and replaced it with another in around 2012-2013 and used the newer one for about 7 years and still use it for my laptop. The newest versions have a different logo (they no longer say SteelSeries under the logo), and the rubber backing is a little more rigid than the old versions I have from 2007 and 2012-2013. As such, it does take some time for it to lay flat after unboxing it. ... MoreThe QcK is one of the best mousepads of all time. There's a reason why SteelSeries has sold over 10 million of them. The surface is very smooth and feels like it will last as long as my older models. In terms of feel and performance, the QcK leans more toward the control side than being a speed pad. I tend to use a slightly higher DPI for gaming and prefer a bit of control to my pads. If you want something speedier, I'd recommend the Razer Gigantus V2 or the Razer Goliathus Speed. I tried the QcK hard pad, but found it too fast to control reliably. For the price, you can't go wrong with the old tried and true QcK.
A little less than a year into using this mousepad almost daily, the edge has started to curl where my wrist lays. This is of course expected with use, and for a cheaper mousepad, I’m happy with how long it took for the curling to be quite noticeable. This was recommended to me by my boyfriend, who said he started with this mousepad but has since gotten bigger, more expensive, higher quality ones. I love it, though, even with the curling! It will get a lot more use from me before being replaced- it is a good size since I have a different “mousepad” for under my keyboard since I prefer blue/pink/white and it is hard to find mousepads I want in white. My mouse glides on this mousepad unlike the one under my keyboard, and the gripping on the back makes it never move. It’s nice, it’s not great. I bought it for my daughter, she wants to play some of my old games on my old computer. My only thing I really have against it is the texture. Maybe you’d like it, or are better about keeping your wrists off the pad, but I can’t stand when my skin hits it. In terms of quality for the money I have no complaints, the size is great and the mouse certainly works on it. But I think buying it for someone like my daughter, who’s only going to use it casually is really the best way to use this.
Got this for free with the purchase of the SteelSeries - Rival 3 Wired Gaming Mouse. It's a decent mouse pad, good quality but man, this thing is huge. I've never used a "gaming" mouse pad before so maybe they are supposed to be this size, but I found that it's not really needed for the Rival 3 to work properly. However, I have a different, super cheap mouse that I use for my laptop and the sensor rarely ever works when using it directly on my Ikea desk. I now use this mouse pad for it and it improved the responsiveness 100%. I'd definitely recommend it for that.
Great mouse pad, especially for smaller desks. Worth the money to invest in a a good quality mouse pad like this especially if your games keeps your mouse gliding a lot smoother and helps keep it cleaner too. When you initially get it it comes rolled up. It’ll take a week or so for the edges to sit perfectly flat on the table but be patient it’ll get there.
Texture is terrible. I got this one for my gf because she was just using like a plastic tablemat for a mousepad, so I thought that I was doing her a FAVOR by buying this one. I thought it was similar to the good one that I still have, which is a large Qck (EDGE!) mousepad. I got it like a year and a half ago so I am not sure if I'd recommend buying one of those now, because maybe they switched up the materials they used now for qck pads or they just changed it for the non-Edge ones, I don't know.I gave this two stars because while it's not for me, it's a good option for people who want to hate themselves every time they accidentally touch their mousepad with their hands. It's not even a cost effective mouse pad, it's like 5 or 10 bucks cheaper than nice ... MoreTexture is terrible. Been using this brand mouse pad for years. Finally had to replace the old one after 10 years of use. Very soft and durable, even after many washings. Only reason for replacing is due to backing rubber breakdown after 10 years on palm pressure near wrist. Highly recommend this brand of mouse pad.
