I would recomend this product to my fellow gamers. Has custom lighting effects for CS:GO that light up according to your present stats in your match... its a good gimmick in my opinion. New to the Desktop scene and i feel this is way to set mine apart from all the Corsair ones im seeing.. Glad i went with Steelseries.

This mouse pad is great. It's nice and soft, seems to repel dirt easy enough, and is simple to clean. But at night, when I'm at my computer in the dark is where it really shines (bad pun, sorry). IT also gives my desk just a wee bit of atmosphere that makes it look amazing.

This mouse pad is great. It's nice and soft, seems to repel dirt easy enough, and is simple to clean. But at night, when I'm at my computer in the dark is where it really shines (bad pun, sorry). IT also gives my desk just a wee bit of atmosphere that makes it look amazing.
I've used it at a MSI display booth before with the other steelseries engine 3 MSI monitor it's meant to go with and together the concept was pretty neat. The rgb on both devices were fully customizable to in game stats and info. It's not meant to be used seriously for stats yet, but if you like esthetics, you'll like the effect it gives or adds to the game. When they release more support for the application it will hopefully open up much more real life usability vs rainbow lights for already on screen stats.
My one complaint about this mousepad is that it’s not a little bigger. I feel like I still run out of room playing some games and I have a wireless mouse. Overall the quality of the mousepad is great and the lights look really nice, so there is not much to complain about there, but since it does say it’s an XL mousepad I expected something bigger. It is more like a large mousepad to me. I would have got a full size desk pad, but it doesn’t seem to look as good, so this one is great. For gaming it doesn’t drag and seems to have little to no affect on accuracy in FPS, so it’s a great mousepad for that.
So far excellent mouse pad. Light and durable. And the rgb effects from SteelSteries are always great.Decent size without being too small or too large for some.
The lights on this are very cool. They're customizable through software you can download, and in terms of functionality I had no issues. My only gripe would be how the lighted portion is held onto the pad. It is lined all the way around with plastic thread that is sown into the pad, and these threads are not soft. Playing Doom Eternal for example, you need to move your mouse around a lot, and I frequently find my wrist chafing on the abrasive plastic threads. So honestly, I would not recommend this mousepad unless you plan to use it for less intense purposes.
Pros: *Looks great.*Lights are vibrant yet not too distracting.*Some really nice lighting effects.*Feels great. Very tactile.*No protrusions or obstructions to snag cables on.*Feels sturdy and very well made.*Grippy rubberised base.*Doesn't flex much.*Both surfaces feel great. Particularly the microfibre one.Cons: *Quite expensive.*USB cable is a hard wired and a little flimsy. Not braided either.*SteelSeries Engine 3 which controls it is still a little buggy. It turns the mousemat red every time the PC wakes from sleep. Doesn't do it when you turn the PC off then on again. Works okay with MSI Mystic Sync but you lose most of the effects.
Had this mouse pad for around 2 weeks? My only problem was it kind of slides around a lot but not enough to bother me as it never stutters my mouse and u can customize the colors. very good for its price. wish i got the desk sized one though.
What I really like about this product is that it the material used is really nice and allows my mouse to just glide over it and I also like the simplicity of just plugging in the mouse pad to get the RGB lights going. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
