The unique Stella Artois yeast strain adds a light to moderate fruity, cooked pineapple aroma and creates a clean, crisp medium bodied flavour with hints of cooked vegetable. The Saaz hop also produces a unique bitterness which is well balanced with the malted barley, giving Stella Artois a subtle but pleasant grainy, sweet finish.

As an American, I grew up eating toast with butter and jam, peanut butter, or maybe even peanut butter and jelly if I was feeling a little wild. I remember trying Nutella for the first time in my high school French class, and it was obviously delicious like any free snack during school I begged my mom to buy a jar the next time she went grocery shopping, and like many things young people MUST have in the moment yes, this Nutella too sat on the shelf until it expired. I may have used a single dip or two. Nutella seems to sell itself, for those who love chocolate and hazelnut spreads, it is simply the best product on the market by far. The texture of good oldfashioned American peanut butter, but with a delicious blend of creamy chocolate and savory hazelnut. It has all the hallmarks of an instant hit, yet for some reason it seems that American palates just arent eager for it, in lieu of our traditional favorites at least. Perhaps due in part to the price of a single jar, which seems to average always slightly more expensive than brand name peanut butter. And at least for me personally, while it may only be about a dollar and some change extra, I simply cant justify the expense to myself knowing the likelihood that I will ever eat it. Its not that I dont find Nutella delicious, I suppose its simply that I am in a happy, committed relationship to my otherbutters. If youve never tried it, and you like chocolate and hazelnut, absolutely give it a try if you have the opportunity. Raid the kitchen of your friend who just studied abroad in Europe Or spring for the small 13 oz jar. But consider hosting a small party, if you grew up in the United States. Because youll probably like it, but youll probably not be able to finish a whole jar without help

Out of all of the beers that I have tried over the years Stella has remained one of by favorites by far. I almost always have a pack of Stella Artois in the fridge at all times. Stella is the perfect beer, it is flavorful with a delicious crispness. It isn’t too light or too heavy and pairs great with most foods.

This beer is clean and refreshing. From first pour, you can see its amber color glowing in your glass. At first taste, you will experience a cool and light flavor. When you drink it down you will smile at the fresh finish. No bad aftertaste. An overall really good beer.

Dear Stella: In my lifetime, I have associated with all manner of beer drinkers. IPA lovers, the REALLY hardcore craft beer connoisseurs, and the classic frat-party Coors and Budweiser fans. I don’t drink beer regularly, I am a red-wine drinker... but in the summer - this is my go-to. IPA’s burn my pallet out, craft beers just get too fancy, convoluted and confusing, and the other brands of party beer don’t do it for me. By association, I’ve tried everyone from dark stouts, to the most exclusive and highly touted IPA’s on the market. This should really be considered “the champagne of beers.” The flavor is light, pleasing; the hops aren’t too overpowering, and it is really just a delight to drink. This is a staple in my fridge come the long hot California summers. ... MoreDear Stella: In my lifetime, I have associated with all manner of beer drinkers. Bit of skunky notes in the aromas that dissipated as it sat in the glass. Okay aromas of pale malt and minimal hop notes; with poor strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. A bit thin, but not watery feeling. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a solid pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Nicely flavorful and clean pils malt/grain presence with decent hop balance. An enjoyable offering.

[brand:stella-artois] Kind of seems like this Solstice beer is trying to imitate Sol Mexican beer. Both by taste and packaging, it’s kind of a rip off of Mexican beer that’s been around for a long time and costs a lot cheaper. With that said, I do like the aesthetic of the new more minimalistic and clean design, which seems more “instagrammable” ~ but it fell short on taste. Granted it does taste more refreshing and lighter than the original Stella, it still doesn’t have that crispness or enough carbonation to quench my thirst. I also tasted more of a musty spice than citrus. It is cool that they triple filter the beer though. Seems like a holiday or summer beer that would look cool as decor on the tables but I’d still go to grab the authentic Mexican beers instead.

I go to Waitrose for quality and authentic
25 March 2023

I have purchased same product at other shops and I was disappointed about the inferior taste I am a bit sceptical now when thinking about beer and where to find authentic tasty beer . However my last purchase from Waitrose had brought back my confidence in this product as a loyal consumer/ customer. Though I live quite some miles from Peterborough where there is no Waitrose shop but don’t reatmind driving these miles to buy my groceries and Stella Artoir from Waitrose. Keep up the standards.

Just as good as the keg!
28 June 2022

I just moved to New Jersey from California. In the old house I had a kegerator and always had a keg of Stella in it. Since you never know exactly when a keg will run out, I had bottled or canned Stella on hand as back up for when a keg expired. What I did notice is, at least to my taste, the bottled/canned Stella was just as good as the keg Stella. So, in the new house I did not bother to install a kegerator; I simply just buy bottles or cans of Stella, since having a keg is not worth the work of keeping and cleaning a kegerator. Now, that is not the case for most other beers; prior to buying Stella, I did purchase other brands and when I backed up those, there was a difference in taste between the keg beer and the bottled/canned beer. My Favorite Beer

This beer is so robust and versatile. I say robust because of that 5% ABV. It sneaks up on you, but the feeling is great. No hangover the next morning. I also say versatile because it’s one of those few select beers that can be enjoyed in any occasion. Whether you’re eating, snacking, chilling with a group or by yourself, this beer will always be an excellent choice. I’ve even had this beer room temperature and it’s still good, but chilled is best. Grab a pack right now!
