With the 500w Creda eq now circa 100+I thought I would try these even though it would mean new fixing holds rather than direct replacement. The quality of the casing is very high and still retains the fourth control wire for centralised systems. I bought several at 30 once I had seen one.

Neat, efficient heater. Looks smart and happy with purchase. However, controls are very complex and not intuitive. Also, wall bracket is very flimsy. On a badly plastered (uneven) wall the bracket distorted when screwed in, making it not fit the slots on the back of the heater.

The heater does perform very well and can heat up rooms quite quickly.However the timer is a bit of a nightmare to operate designed in the dark ages. The manual whilst is technically correct is easy to follow and buttons seems to have multiple uses based on the menu. Would have been far simpler to create and app but think the manufacturer is many years away from that !!
Excellent fire with good heat output. My only criticism is the timer is so complex I've given up trying to set it. I just want the heat on at a certain time and off at a certain time everyday but just can't get it to do it si have resirted to manual operation. Would still buy again though.
Brought to replace a storage heater and unsurprisingly this is very compact by comparison. Easy to install. It was switched on for testing, which worked great, though as it is spring/summer not had the opportunity to fully test the thermostatic controls. Still impressed by the available functions and the price.
Heater brackets have a poor securing screw, only one screw, not two, and I had to tap M5 holes myself and supply new M5 screws - 0 stars.Advertised as German made, but small print on box states 'Made in China', hence poor bracket I assume - 0 stars for bracket.Heater itself works well and gives out a good heat; therefore I would give it 4 stars for performance, but overall I can only give 3 stars as the bracket problem is very poor with no quality control.
Ordered online for next biz day collection. Was due to fit this for someone, lucky I checked the content of the box the night before. The locking screws were missing. Was unable to order a replacement in time so returned & went with the Airmaster branded one instead which TS had in stock and was cheaper anyway. Overall, this Stiebel Eltron CNS Trend Panel Heater looked liked a decent unit when I unpacked it, but that's about all I can comment on.
