Fab. Love both tools. Looked for ages and dithered over cheaper versions but opted for stihl as best on marker imo. Easy to use. Guard on bush cutter does come loose so ALWAYS handle with gloves. Blades are super sharp. Mafe trimming small hedges and bushes so much easier and awkward bits of grass if you dont have a strimmer. Keep your hands AWAY from grass tool when cutting. DONT be tempted to flick grass away when cutting or you will lose fingers! Excellent service and best price i could find from Garden Machinery. Thank you!

A premium product which I think will prove worthy of the price. Used twice so far and brilliant at edging my lawn with its varied borders of brick, proprietary edging and concrete path. It was a ‘hands and knees’ job but that was not a problem as I prefer the better control and finish I can achieve than with the optional extension handle (not bought). Easy to hold and with easy controls so I didn’t experience any hand discomfort.The shrub trimming blade has its limitations (a hedge trimmer it is not of course) but does a good job at shaping the new season growth on shrubs such as box, skimmia and choisya. It also proved useful on small areas of my beech hedging where it encroached on other plants, where a full-on hedge trimmer would be unwieldy. I ordered the Stihl HSA 26 Cordless Shears from‘Charlie’s’ a few weeks ago following a conversation with a professional gardener. I needed a lightweight and easy to manoeuvre small cutter which would also be powerful. I’m very happy with the purchase as it is light and has never run out of power. A small leaved hedge was cut in no time and as the blade length is shorter than a hedge trimmer it is more precise. When used I tend to say ‘well just a bit more’ as it’s quite fun to use, forgetting I also have to clean up the cuttings! Service from Charlies was great, arrived in a few days, spoke with them on the phone for information ordered online

Absolutely adore this itemI had read up on these type of tools as I had moved house and acquired a sizeable garden full of shrubs ,small trees etcThis makes short work of them and also light weight which is fab as holding your arms aloft with a full size one when doing shaped fir trees is bloody hard workWould definitely recommend for the intrepid female gardener ,not being sexist,just that it’s easy to handle

I recently purchased HSA 26 from Charlies and I am absolutely thrilled with it. I have quite a large garden with loads of shrubs, bushes that needs pruning regularly and as I have arthritis I have been finding it hard to use clippers. However, today I got to use my new cordless shears and they are fantastic. I pruned 40 bushes etc and it was a breeze. No sore hands or wrists ... very light and easy to use. I would definitely recommed this product and highly recommed Charlies!!! Fantastic service.... had my order in a couple of days. Thumbs up from me Charlies !!!!
Easy one handed operation, decent working time from battery per charge.
This little guy is a dream! My absolute favourite tool I own. Love the little folding kit bag and how everything has a tidy slot. It’s super light, the one-handed operation makes it heaps easier to use than a regular hednegtrimmer.The battery lasts for ages - I did my whole lawn with the shears and thern switched to the hedgetrimmer blades to prune 2 large walls of ficus and still had charge left. Amazing. 5 stars!
I recently moved to a house that has lots of stunning feature topiary. My gardener recommended that I purchase a set of these small compact hand held rechargeable shears. They are fantastic for detailed shaping and now I wonder how I ever managed without them. They are really light and easy to manage, and I really recommend them.They make gardening fun!
All I can say is that I wish I had bought these years ago, they do an excellent job of hedge trimming when the big hedge trimmer is not necessary, they also make edging the lawn and around trees a doddle. Charlie's was the best price available at the time and I ordered on line. Trimmer arrived within a couple of days. I have to admit that whenever I pop into Charlie's to have a look around I always come away with something for the garden and the house as there is so much choice at very competitive prices.
