The SHA 56 is the first cordless vacuum shredder / leaf blower from STIHL. Excellent vacumn/blow on my ****** garden and paths, steps etc. Doesn't pick up the 30-50mm stones which is great.A tiny bit heavy for my sore back but if you get the shoulder strap right it is more comfortable for 15- 20 min bursts.Got the bigger battery for run time and that works out well.The bag is great to empty into a phage.

I purchased my SHA56 in October and used it for several hours over a couple of days cleaing up leaves, which is all I intend to use it for. I've had two different brands of corded leaf Vac/Shredders, I always disliked dragging the cord around, neither one were very easy to get on and off my shoulder or empty the leaf bag. The biggest thing that stuck out to me is the whole ergonomics of it when it is strapped over your shoulder in the vacuum setup. The handle is in the perfect position and you can easily adjust the height the nozzle is from the ground, with the strap. Also the bag is very easy to get on and off the machine for emptying. I'm really glad I waited and bought this, instead of buying some inferior brand.I have only used the vacuum feature as that was the intent of the purchase.It performs extremely well, will vacuum up a wet leaf off a wet paver with ease. In fact you can feel it vacuuming to the ground it's that good. Also does a good job of mulching the leaf's nicely.I did suspect this might be a power hungry unit, so I did buy an AK30 battery to go with it, I would highly recommend this depending on size of area, however mine is not that large so do your research.I would buy this again without hesitation.

I purchased this not so much for the blower functionality, but for the vacuum functionality. It works very well, but I am a little disappointed in the battery life. Looking to upgrade to the AK 30 battery, but waiting to see if the price drops or goes on sale.
Bought this unit because it was built so much better than the competition. The only negative thing is I wish the battery would last longer and takes a little longer to charge back up
