Stila - Heaven's Hue Highlighter - Bronze

As you can see from my picture I use this product all the time. Love the color I have more yellow undertones and light medium tan skin. Feels like putty. Can apply with fingers or a highlighter brush. Does not emphasize texture like other highlighters. It is easy to travel with and I don’t have to worry about it breaking since it’s not really a powder. Definitely an underrated product

I use mine as bronzer for a topper! Love the formula it is soft and putty like, not too shimmery with chunky glitter and is more luminous. I love the product because it’s so creamy and blendible. Can’t wait to try other shades. The package is a really nice compact gold square and I have had no problems with it cracking or anything. I also never have any fallout from this because it is like a gel/cream would recommend to fair girls as a bronzer

An Okay Highlight

At the price point, I was expecting a fantastic highlighter & this didn't quite live up to that. I'll get use from this & it's pretty, but I don't find it to be anything special.I was disappointed by the packaging right away (not that packaging is a deal breaker on this). The compact felt like it was made of super cheap plastic, rather than a more durable plastic or metal I expected.I find it a bit awkward to apply (doesn't like a brush, and applying with fingers makes it feel dry on the face). It does blend well once on, but I find that I don't seem much of it remaining about halfway through the day.There are better options at or below this price point.

I've been using this product for over 5 years now since seeing it in a youtube review and being completely sold. I've tried multiple highlighters and blushes since, but I always come back to this. When I was in middle school I remember my mom having a product called 'health' that was a bronzer / blusher duo that just brings life back to the face and this is that for me. It's the necessary last step in my routine. It really glows and has a wet look but also looks natural on the skin and doesn't emphasize dryness or pores. It adds dimension and has a great undertone that looks like my natural blush. I use it both for a nearly no makeup look with just concealer or bb cream and on my wedding day at my most glam. Love it!

I got this during the 21 days of beauty, which is always my favorite time to stock up on old tried and true favs and also take a plunge and try new things! A lot of what are my now tried and true go-to's came from trying things during the sale. That being said, I love this highlighter! I love that it is so soft to the touch but not dry! It's dewy and light and goes on seamlessly! I would love to try some of the other colors! I have tried a lot of other highlighters that everyone said were great, but turned out to be duds. This one is truly great! Try it!!

Meh

I've been wanting to try this forever after it just caught my eye once. I had high hopes, but it was honestly a bit of a let down.The color is pretty. Kitten can blend down into a nice glow on my neutral skin. I did find that it makes my face feel dry in that area when I apply it. It doesn't cause dryness that I've noticed, but it does apply a little rough as though I'm applying it to very dry skin. I find that it does fade easily throughout the day. It hasn't completely vanished, but it's very close to doing so.There's nothing overly terrible about this, it's just more expensive than many better options. I also expected the case itself to feel less cheap at the price point it's at.

Perfect amount of highlight

I'm not into supper glittery highlighters, I was looking for something beautiful and subtly but still wanted that gorgeous pop. This is the perfect product. It give a beautiful highlight that make your look healthy and glam without looking like your going to a festival and being fake and glittery. Plus it doesn't emphasise any texture of pores. It's buildable so you can build it up for those special occasions but still suble enough that you can wear it daily without looking over the top. Plus the shade Kitten is perfect for my light-medium yellow/neutral skin tone.

I have always loved Stila products I'm not sure why they don't seem as popular now as they were 10 years ago when I first discovered them? I have been using a lot of different luminizing products lately, creams and liquids that can be dabbed onto high points of face or mixed with moisturizer or foundation and used all over. I have combination skin so I have to adjust my skincare and makeup textures with the seasons and this has a gorgeous texture. Lots of other reviewers have commented on its mousse like texture. Even though it's a powder it doesn't feel dry but almost creamy. This can be worn all year round but will definitely be my go to in the summer. Kitten is a true champagne colour that adds a pretty golden light to my fair/light neutral/cool skin tone. My only quibble is the gold packaging feels a little dated, it's rather bulky with an unnecessary amount of plastic. I would definitely repurchase and hope to see updated packaging the future. I can see why this is a multi-year Allure Best of Beauty winner.
