After reading the One Star review I decided to visit a store to see for myself and yes there is a big difference between brands. The one star review reflects poor handling not a poor quality product. I also have a GO brand but think this is a case of you get what you pay for. The curved front looks good and seems to add to the rigidity of the drawers.
I brought 2 of these filing cabinets a few weeks ago and everything is going well so far. Tracks are smooth - lock works well - has room for tabs when closing drawer - drawers long so lots of room. Colour great

Unfortunately, despite the premium price, the quality of the new unit cannot hold a candle against the old. They don't make them like they used to. This one is just OK - nothing brilliant on the quality side of things.It was well packed with lots of honeycomb cardboard in the box. The outer box had a rough journey by the looks of it but the product was still in perfect condition inside.I really like the "only one drawer open" at a time feature. Cabinet looks good and is exactly what I required. It certainly does the job!
This is recent purchase was my second Stilford 4 drawer filing cabinet. Like the first unit, this one was packed securely in a sturdy cardboard container. The cabinet was wrapped in plastic and foam surrounds on all the edges. The included rods to cater for A4 suspension files was a nice touch, although we don't intend using them.One of the reasons for choosing this unit, was its all steel construction and smooth roller glides. It is possible to open more than one drawer at a time if needed, but under normal operation one needs to close one before opening another. Fit and finish is generally good but there is room for improvement. In my unit a couple of the drawers appear to stick out about 5mm on one side. Not a dealbreaker but a little disappointing nonetheless.
This product was sturdy and the 10-year warranty is great, but the colour is an unattractive white with almost greyish undertones. If you are looking for a white filing cabinet to sit alongside other white furniture, this probably isn't the best product.
