Creativity begins with a pen, and the Stilform Kosmos offers more inspiration than most. Not only is it beautiful, but its unique magnetic mechanism is an elegant answer to the typical retractable pen. It's no wonder that this well-constructed pen won both the 2018 IF Design Award and the 2016 Red Dot Best of the Best Award. Instead of extending the pen tip, the Kosmos' forward section doubles as a pen cap that retracts when you're ready to write. Simply pull or push the cap towards the pen barrel to retract the cap and expose the pen tip. When you're done using the pen, pull or push the cap away from the barrel to cover the pen tip. The mechanism's strong Neodymium magnet keeps the cap securely in place but easy to move one-handed. The design also includes a visual cue to prevent you from marking up your pocket or pen case with an exposed pen tip. When the pen is in the writing position, the cap touches the pen barrel. When the pen tip is covered, an exposed shank between the cap and the pen barrel lets you know that it's safe to put away.
