This is the unit the school is using on their new iPad 7th Gen (less then 3 months old). One drop and the screen shattered!!! The previous iPad and case my son had (can't remember the brand) handled 4 years of abuse without any problem. I strongly discourage using this case to protect your iPad!

I purchased this on July 27th but didn’t start using it until OCTOBER 13th. Already, the kickstand won’t stay up! I’m very disappointed with my Dux Duo Plus. I had an STM case for my iPad Air 1 that lasted all this time ( 2016- now)! This is why I went ahead and purchased another STM case for my new IPad 2020 8th generation which this is designed to fit. I hate the place where the pencil is supposed to go. I purchased a pencil but hated it. Now it’s just an empty place that collects dust and dirt. I imagine even with the pencil, the design for this feature would have dirt and dust accumulate in and around the pencil, as well as the slats on each side of where the pencil snaps in. It's a really sturdy case for the Ipad! It fits the iPad perfectly. The only thing is that after you begin to use the cover flipped back as a stand, it does bend the corners a bit. Then when you close the cover over the screen, the corners no longer cover the whole screen and bends upwards.

I use the same style case on all the families I-Pads. This will make the fourth case with the oldest one one of 5+ years. That one gets used every day. Thanks for the great product.

Too hard to push volume buttons. iPad stands to straight, no slant. Very sturdy. I am not using. Bought a much cheaper one that slants and is easier to use buttons
New iPad 9, new STM cover. My old cover outlasted my old iPad. So when I got my new iPad I immediately ordered the exact same cover for it. Can’t say enough good things about the construction, durability and convenience of the STM covers. I give my electronics a tough life but these covers take good care of my babies. And I can find the bright red cover easily when buried in a suitcase or a heap of travel stuff in the trunk. Check here FIRST when you need a good cover.
During COVID my son's school sent him home with a ipad protected with the Dux Plus Duo. One late night we came home after a long trip. While I was unloading my car I set the ipad down on the hood of my car and forgot about it. That night a snowstorm his cancelling school for two days. On the third day I went outside to brush the snow off my car and found the ipad in a frozen Dux Plus Duo. I removed the ipad and let everything dry for a couple days and the ipad is working good as new. In addition i know my 5 year old has been found standing on the ipad in it's Dux Plus Duo case. Two thumbs up! Highly recommended and will be purchasing for all our devices. Thank you!
The cover is so loose on the front when you tilt the iPad while it’s closed, a decent size gap appears because the flap is so loose. It also has very loose edges that stick up on the right top and bottom corners when the front flap is closed. Fresh out of the box and sending it back.
Very pleased with the purchase. I got it for my Gen 9 IPad and there were no issues with the fit of the cover and the device.Very solid corner protectionand It’s also not overly bulky. Overall, it provides the protection I was looking for.
