Very nice stoneware. I was looking for something less heavy than what we had but would hold my food in. This isn’t as heavy as I thought it would be and I love the lip on the sides. The cups are very small, if I had any complaint it would be that those would be for company for tea or quick coffee. My coffee cups are twice that size, but still I bought it for the plates and bowls.

I like my new stoneware dinner ware. The plates have a slight rim around them that makes them noticeably attractive. They stack nicely in the cabinet and fit perfectly in the dishwasher. The cups are a little larger than most, but not as large as soup mugs. I will be searching for serving platters and bowls for company and holiday meals. I might order a second set soon.

Great set of dishes for a bargain! I felt surprised and happy when I opened the shipping boxes to find such classy-looking dishes for so little money. The more I use them the more I like these dishes. And what’s not to like The dishes are an interesting style and the mat black an elegant and stunning! Additionally, the dish set arrived carefully packed with ample packing materials. This is a first for not a single dish was broken or chipped! Thank you Way Fair.

After much searching for the perfect plates I ran upon these magnificent plates, I really like this is matte black round collection it’s absolutely stunning they are however a bit heavier then most plates but I like the feel of them. I love the fact that they’re not your typical dining room plates they are a staple in my home and every time I host Friends over my plates are the topic of conversation. I am beyond happy with my purchase will definitely be adding more of these to my collection. If you don’t mind heavy plates I do recommend these however probably not very child friendly because they are heavy plates.
These were just beautiful plates, every bit as nice as they looked in the picture. The matte black makes colors on the plate pop, making food look scrumptious, too. Have had two different sets of guests over so far for dinner, all of them gushed over the new plates. Five stars. The box arrived extremely well packaged, with a big note on top saying they want 100% satisfaction with instructions on what to do if there was a problem. Great service, beautiful set. Lots of compliments. Youll love them too!
I personally like black dinnerware, and so I fell in love with this stone dinnerware set. It looks very elegant. I combine it with a golden flatware set which looks amazing! Update: Unfortunately, after only a couple of months, the plates and bowls started to chip. One of the bowls even got such a large crack that I cannot use it anymore. I'm handling these extremely carefully, but it just seems like they chip so very easily.
Just as pictured! Strong and sturdy. One thing to mention; If you’re buying the same set in white and plan on mixing/matching the sets, the sizes vary slightly. The black are slightly smaller than the white (1-2mm at most).
This is the 4th set of stoneware that I have owned in 10 years. All the others started chipping almost immediately after first use. I have had these dishes for 7 months and they are the BEST. No scratches or chips. I purchased 3 sets totaling a service for 12. I love the rims on the plates which gives them a unique character. I just wish they came in additional colors. I highly recommend!
This dinnerware set is just what I was looking for! I have been in search of a heavy-duty and durable set and this set is just that. The plates, bowls, and mugs do not feel like they will chip or break very easily at all. I will definitely be purchasing this set again if anything happens to my current set.
These dishes are nice - we just go the set in today. However, they read a bit more brown than they look in the pictures, just to note. That was not the issue for us, however. They are very thick. This coupled with the way they stack (completely on top of each other, rather than within the dish below it, if that makes sense) make them too thick to for all 8 plates to fit within our cabinet. This was not a deal breaker; we just decided to keep 2 sets away on a higher shelf and only pull them out if needed. The dealbreaker WAS the fact that they are even too thick to fit in within the prongs of our dishwasher. We live in NYC so our dishwasher maybe a tad smaller than that of a house, but be mindful of the thickness if you do have a smaller one!
