What a nightmare to put together... the screw holes didn't align and it took almost 2 hours to get the screws in, even with a drill. The screws wouldn't catch properly, which was the main problem. On a positive note, the overall look of the product is good. Once it's finished (still need to put the lid on properly) I will be majorly relieved.

It’s perfect for what what I wanted, the colour is true to its picture which was a very pleasant surprise a perfect match. The material is velvet and easy to maintain! The assembly proved more difficult though and needed quite a lot of elbow grease!!

Good option for what it does

We quite like the ottoman, however the screws had to be manually adjusted for the hinges as it was off by about 3mm. Other than that, it worked well with 2 people. The colour options were confusing as the picture didnt quite match the description. Its like a grey with white flec that gives it a lighter grey look. But worth the money. Also fits a queen bed well as its not too short in width.

Good quality and size. Better looking than expecte

Better than I expected! Plenty of storage space, lovely in appearance and seems like the opening mechanism is sturdy. Good size for the foot if a king bed. Others have noted, and we agree, that the lack of detailed construction instructions was a pain but surmoubtable! Doesn't fit the big material boxes from IKEA unfortunately, but that's ok - the dimensions were as indicated online so I knew this would be the case.

This is a substantial item of furniture for less than $100 so youd expect the instructions to be a little questionable. Construction took time and you need to be a bit thoughtful with it and take your time. Dont put the big hinges on until the smaller ones are affixed. The guide marks for the small screws werent in the correct places but the screws are self tapping so its not difficult to figure out the correct alignment yourself. The inclusion of a screwdriver was super appreciated! I didnt expect it to be so well lined, and thats a bonus. In spite of a slightly challenging construction, if youre after a bargain version of this type of thing, this is it. The colour is lovely, and once constructed, the box is solid. Instructions weren't clear

The ottoman arrived in 2 boxes on 2 separate days which was very odd, also this item has free shipping but with no tracking provided, so I had no clue when to expect the delivery to arrive. Then another issue was that the instructions are so poorly explained and written that it was very difficult to put together and none of the pieces are marked (eg piece 1,2,3 etc), which made it extremely frustrating to put together and it took around 3 hours all together. I would recommend using a power drill to put this together because our hands were hurting so bad screwing all the screws In by hand. Love it!

Love it. The actual colour of this ottoman bench is not at all like the pictures...BUT what a pleasant surprise. Never before have I been so happy to get the wrong product. The real colour is a very light grey and its beaitiful. I very much hated putting this together and the instructions were terrible but, regardless of that i LOVE it. It looks so fab in my bedroom at the end of my bed and great additonal storage for blankets and cushions. Happy with the price, speedy postage and no postage fees. Doesnt get better than that.

Okay product

Actual colour does not match the product description ,but its a nice colour. Product itself is fine for the price. However,i do not recommend purchasing this item from Myer as theu use Amarex postage who railed to deliver pur item for four Weeks. We had to pick it up after a month of mucking around.

This comes as a flat pack, difficult to assemble

Really hard to assemble flat pack. Wasn’t expecting a flat pack, wouldn’t have ordered it if I’d known. Description says linen fabric but it’s velveteen as in the picture. Delivery people didn’t notify me it was coming, got home late at night to find very wet box with snails crawling all over it. Flat pack ottoman inside, not impressed!
