To start with, I don't play competitive fighting games, so this review is from the point of view of a single player/couch co-op player. The game is flashy and very fun to look at; and even better to play. Although be prepared to learn a lot of moves, because the game does not offer an "easy" mode, like you may find in games like Guilty gear, DBZ and Blazeblue. Here you need to use all the buttons and need to do the right joystick movements if you want to make any combo beyond the 1-2 standard hits you get by pressing a button and a direction with the stick.Graphics are very flashy, the style is quite standard for SF; with oversized and exaggerated proportions, that fits perfectly the style of this game (a mix between cartoon and realistic ); sound is great for ... MoreTo start with, I don't play competitive fighting games, so this review is from the point of view of a single player/couch co-op player. The game is flashy and very fun to look at; and even better to play. The positive is that you get most of the fighters so don't need to buy dlc.Very good game, fun with friends and for solo players; although it give its best with the online mode.

This is so far the most complete edition of the game which includes every character and costume (minus some tournament costumes) but it's missing all the season 5 content which can be unlocked with fight money (FM) in game, getting FM is hard because you need to level up your characters online but with this edition you can just play survival and character stories to earn enough to unlock at least all the season 5 characters. The game has plenty of offline modes (several arcade variations, vs, survival, story modes, training and, missions and more) and the online is good enough with many matching options and nice social features to showcase and watch replays. Worth the money and on sale it's a steal.

My last Street Fighter was III, or was it II ... I played it intensively with my brother at that time. Now I am back and having a lot of fun. So many characters, very nice graphics, tight controls. I was thinking of picking up VI. But I thought the price different is not worth it, I still think. Upgrading in a few months, practiced a lot, and saved quite some money.

Pretty fun game! I like the slower more deliberate style of the game. Inputs are really fun too. Only downside I haven't figured out yet is to get the game into borderless fullscreen. Definitely try the game on sale!
A fun fighting game best played offline or with a friend locally. A great variety of characters to choose from and I liked the arcade mode enough to play the game over 70 hours over a few years.I wouldn't recommend for online. It goes on sale and getting the "complete" edition is the best way to go.I upgraded starting with the Street Fighter arcade game and spent around $70 overall, including the arcade edition, to get all the characters. It twas worth it.
I bought the Champion Edition plus the season 5 stuff and this is a big disappointment after SSF4AE. When starting the game for the first time it takes forever to even get into the main menu because it bombards you with user agreements and pop ups. You have to find a setting to turn off advertisements or you will be bombarded with those constantly too. There are loot boxes and you can grind in-game currency. What the ♥♥♥♥ is this? I thought this is a fighting game, not some mobile or live service ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.The game doesn't even have an intro. There are 2 intro videos you can watch in the gallery but they are very low quality. Arcade mode has several different modes or so it seems at first, but it's actually just limiting the characters you can choose for most ... MoreI bought the Champion Edition plus the season 5 stuff and this is a big disappointment after SSF4AE. Arcade mode has several different modes or so it seems at first, but it's actually just limiting the characters you can choose for most arcade modes. There's actually a story mode this time but it's another disappointment. Character stories are just 3 one round fights interwoven with crudely drawn pictures. The big story mode is a bit better and has at least real cutscenes, but the story is stupid and badly written, even for a fighting game story, and the cutscenes have lots of clipping when characters interact with each other.I can't say anything about the online stuff because I only play singleplayer stuff and the singleplayer experience was much better in SF4. And if you care a lot about graphics you will be disappointed too because SF5 looks almost exactly like SF4.
This was shipped from a 3rd party, which I was aware of. Judging from the packaging, it’s used. The plastic wrap was open, the disc moves around the box and doesn’t stay in place b/c the plastic piece that’s holds the disc in place inside the case is broken and the outside bottom corner of the case is broken. However, price was good and disc itself doesn’t appear scratched or damaged. Haven’t tried playing yet but, I’ll give an update if the disc doesn’t play correctly.
This game works on PS5. I played it with my spouse and we stayed playing for several hours.Pure childhood memories and lots of fun.
The game itself is good. But it comes with a code in the box. But when I put it in it said that the cide was already used. So I didn't get all that I paid for. Why isn't everything on the disc? Guess I should just start buying games digitally from now on.
