Rich, Tender & Creamy. This took me ages to locate. I tried several stores with no luck either becasue supposedly unavailable or because I was looking in the Deli section by mistake. Turns out it's a frozen meal. Once I discovered this I quickly located it in our freezers at my local store. It is a little dearer than I'd normally spend on a prepared meal but was keen to see what it was like. Pulled Beef sounded nice and the description of a ragu immediately made my mouth water. It is made in Australia which is good but only at least 75% ingredients. I feel like it could and should be higher. The ray and cardboard sleeve are both recyclable which is good but I would have thought the film should have been able to be included in the plastics we return to store rather ... MoreRich, Tender & Creamy. This is very convenient being able to be kept in the freezer until needed. A nice tasty meal to have on hand for those days when you don't want to cook. You can choose oven or microwave. i chose the oven which does take a lot longer but I prefer that if I have the time. If you are time poor then using a microwave can have it ready in 7 minutes instead of 55 minutes if choosing the oven method. This is high protein which is great if that's important to you. This isn't a big deal to me but I am trying to include more protein in my meals as I age. The meal didn't look that big but was quite filling. Supposedly perfectly proportioned but some people might be left wanting a bit more. It was very tasty with a nice mix of cheese, creamy filling and meat. The pasta was lovely and tender and the whole thing was very easy to eat. Maybe a few hidden vegetables would round this out nicely if you don't want to go to the bother of cooking your own or preparing a salad. Overall I was very happy with this with regards, taste, flavour, tenderness and richness. Wasn't too overpowering and was satisfying and enjoyable to eat. I wouldn't rave about it in any particular way but it was tasty so if it's on special then I would recommend it as something to have on hand in the freezer for those days when the pantry is a little bare or you're too tired to cook from scratch.

Great quality! I was pleasantly surprised with this lasagne. Being a frozen ready-made meal, I braced myself for the expected tastelessness which is often experienced with this type of meal. But, not this one! The lasagne smelt cheesy and delicious coming out of the oven and I could clearly see a good layer of cooked cheese on top of the bechamel which made a nice change. Pasta was both a perfect texture and a good ratio to meat/pasta. The meat was delicious- generous and tender and I really enjoyed that it was real beef - not the soya type bits commonly used. A perfectly adequate meal for one - I ate the whole tub happily. Definitely a good product- my only issue is price. $9 is a bit high for my budget but for a time- poor person I would highly recommend this.

Yum. My daughter tried this product. She is very picking with which lasagne she likes. But she really enjoyed the flavour of this one. It wasn't too sweet or overly powering like some can be. It ad a nice amount of meat through it. Only down falls would be the size of 350g for the price of $9 and it was very hard to find. After trying stores and all 3 staff members I asked about the product believing it was kept in different places, I eventually found at my local supermarket in the frozen meal section but way off to the side not near the other frozen lasagne. Not a product I would buy again unless on special due to its size and price.

Yum. I found this to be a Decent size at 350g but very expensive at $9 so wouldn’t buy again because of that. Very cheesy, but also over 600 calories per serve. I’d have to have over two-three meals to be able to add some veg to it and stick to normal calories. However, as it’s is marketed for the gym population I’m sure this is perfect apprise for a lot of people... my partner included who is trying to gain muscle and was the one who ate this. He said it was yummy. It is easy enough to find in store as long as you look in the freezer section and not the refrigerated section... they also have this brand in the fridge section near the deli Cooking instructions on packet are easy enough to follow. Great 1 serve lasange. This product proved very illusive for me, as i was looking in the wrong spot, it isn't with all the other STRENGTH MEALS in the fridge section but in the frozen section, and after comments from other bunchies i found it and I am aware now to read the product description and it will point out where a product can be found. Well at first it was easy distinguished coloured lable with a white section with the product name clearly marked and labeled as a high protein meal with 39. 7g of protein a huge 1 year use by date provided Kept frozen.. 3. 5 HSR sleeve and tray recyclable and plastic film for rubbish bin. I would next time just run a sharp knife around the edge. Upon opening the product had a nice meaty aroma was well formed and not sloppy a nice coating of i assume bechamel topping onto the plate with some vegetablesThe first mouthful was wow this tastes very nice, the pulled beef filling along with the aldente sheets of pasta and the topping an explotion of flavours were experienced. Little pricey for a 1 serve meal, but you must try. I would buy again to have on hand especially in the motorhome as a quick meal after a day of being a tourist. THANKS BUNCH TEAM for the opportunity to try this Lasangne from STRENGTH MEALS Co 5 stars for your product and bunchies for dropping by..
Tasty. Pleasantly surprised. I must admit, this was a lot better than expected. It has a pleasant taste, but not your traditional lasagna taste. Not sure how to describe it, but it was quite nice. The pasta was a lovely texture. The meat, it was nice to have something other than minced meat in it, although I think I would have preferred a bit bigger chunks of the pulled beef, rather being completely shredded. But it was good to actually tell there was a good amount of meat in the product. I would have liked more cheese sauce though. For a frozen meal, it is quite good, but it’s still a frozen meal, so not going to be a perfect lasagna. Compared to others I’ve eaten over the years, it was good. If it was on sale for half price I might pick up a couple up keep in the freezer for a meal when I don’t want to cook or am short of time.
Convenient. As a Family of Lasagne lovers, it is a dish that I make on a fairly regular basis. I chose to try this product on a night when the rest of the Family would eat my usual homemade Lasagne. Unfortunately the height of this product paled in comparison to the three generous meat, lasagne & béchamel filled layers of my homemade deep dish slices. While the flavour of the store-bought product was enjoyable, I found that there was more béchamel sauce than meat sauce and the texture of the lasagne sheets was very soft (almost doughy) and not what you would call al dente. For the regular purchase price of $9, it is not a product that I would repurchase. I think the convenience factor is probably the most appealing selling point for a quick & easy meal option for 1.
Tasty little lasagne. Not to be confused with the fresh meals available from the brand, this Lasagne is in the freezer alongside a Braised Beef Ragu and Chicken Paella. The standard microwave meal format of a tray with film. The tray is black so that it can also be cooked in an oven (for ~55min). The label says it's recyclable but I don't think machines recognise black plastic. The film domed a bit with steam while heating in the microwave and a beefy tomato smell came out. There was a thick layer of gooey Béchamel cheese ontop and sprinkled herbs. The pasta layers were soft with tender pulled meat in between. It was rich with good flavour and I enjoyed it but the health branding and claims of 'perfectly portioned' seem at odds with the nutritional information- 1100mg of sodium is nearly the daily limit. This single serve is too expensive at $9, I'd make my own family sized lasagne instead.
Tasty way to enjoy pulled beef. So this isn't your traditional lasagne. It's a cross between what you usually expect a lasagne to be but with more of a pulled beef flavour. The combo was a nice surprise flavour wise... the meat was a bit sweeter but went really well with the cheese on top. It's a small size - perfect for a warm lunch on one of those cold winter days. I microwaved mine because I was in a hurry so ended up with one crispy corner - the price you pay for being in a rush!!
Ok but improvements are needed. I was glad to receive this sample and see how this lasagna stacks up against my lasagna. Well, I have to say nothing like what we make at home but it is something different and at least it was edible. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the bechamel sauce was good and the pulled beef ragu was tender and flavoursome. I did find a few grisly pieces but still the meat overall was good and there was a generous amount. Looking at it doesn't look that appealing but it is a convenient frozen meal that is great have in the freezer than having takeaway. I preferred to heat it in the oven and it did cook within the specified time which was great. Also the film of the tray is very hard to peel off and needed a knife to tear it open. This is definitely something that needs to be addressed and make it easier to peel open which would be fantastic. Made in Australia from at least 75% Australian ingredients but does have a long list of ingredients including preservatives. Has a health star rating of 3. 5 and packs a punch with 39. 7g of protein. The down fall that it does contain 618 calories for this small portion which is best suited having it for lunch rather for dinner. I would think been frozen there would be no need for these added preservatives and having ingredients that are more natural would be more desirable. It does contain 33. 7g of fat and 1100mg of sodium which is pretty high for a 350g serving. I wouldn't class this as a very healthy meal but love the slogan on the front which reads ''HIGH PROTEIN MEAL FOR MIND, BODY AND SOUL''. I have to say it is a very comforting meal which is nice to have once in a while. Overall an ok pulled beef lasagna that is edible and at least it's not bland but nothing compares what you make at home. This comes in at $9. 00 for a 350g serving whereas you could make a huge tray of lasagna and feed a family without costing you that much money. I understand that this a convenience meal but still improvements are needed for the price that you pay for it. I am sure with small changes it could be a 5/5 delicious lasagna. Thanks Bunch for the sample but this not something that I would be purchasing in the future.
