Had to downsize from a Truetone CS12 as i moved from a PT2 board to metro 16. This power brick has just as much juice and is silent too. Plus will work fine if i go back to the big board because I can just pick up the expansion kit had have another 5 outlets linked to this one!No brackets or way to mount to the metro series without using cable ties. leaves very little room under the board but thats not an issue related to this power brick, just something to consider if using the metro series of boards

I had ran out of capacity on a Strymon Ojai R30 power supply, and this expansion pack replicates the existing unit and doubles the port capacity without requiring an additional power supply. It connects to the existing R30 unit via a single supplied cable and that is all there is to it - could not be simpler. Like the original it provides 5 ports, 2 of which can be switched between 9,12, or 18v supply. Great, simple, well designed and constructed piece of kit.

I already have a large Strymon power supply and wanted something small for a desktop practice setup with a few pedals. With splitters this could power quite a few pedals from the five outputs, each output provides a massive 500mA of current! With the usual PMT service and fast delivery this power supply was an awesome purchase.

I mostly play at home and I keep my pedal on a shelf. This power supply is small enough to fit perfectly. It also pretty to look at!I run compressor/boot and several digital pedals (strymon and meris mostly) and have no problems with noise.The nice thing is that if I would need more outputs I can buy an extension which will run through the same power supply. Neat.
Excellent. The sound quality is much better than my old power supply and there is far less hiss. It fits perfectly under my Pedaltrain nano max board and powers my HX Stomp XL, Hudson Broadcast dual (18v with a Y cable using two power inputs) and Crybaby mini with no problems at all. It seems a little expensive but if you want your pedalboard to run at it’s full potential then it’s worth every penny.
Not much to say about this - it's a power supply expansion, to work alongside the Strymon Zuma I already had, given my ever-expanding pedal board. It works well. As with all Strymon products, a touch on the expensive side, but having spent so much on the pedals themselves, I wasn't going to sacrifice quality on the power front.
Very clean, compact, noiseless power supply. Elegant solution that allows for more outputs to be added later if needed. The outputs with selectable voltage have worked well so far, and there's plenty of power for even a Strymon Timeline, which needs a bit more than many pedals. Costs a bit more than other multi-out power supplies, but it definitely feels like a premium product.
I've bought the Ojay strymon because I knew that the strymon products are excellent, and I've not been disappointed! Your music has done an excellent job being fast with the shipping and reliable for the information. Thanks!
I bought this for a second, smaller pedal board after owning its bigger brother, the Zuma, for a couple of years. These are great power supplies. This one doesn’t have the 18V option that the Zuma offers, and obviously is more limited in the number of outlets it has, but it does the same great job of giving noiseless power to my pedals. I wouldn’t risk using another power source again. Not a cheap option but why spend so much on pedals then compromise on the power supply?
I don't know how long these are expected to last, but we had problems with ours in the first year. The points of connection are just not good. First we had an issue with the black piece, and they sent us another 24V adapter which we appreciated. But less than 6 months later we had the same issue on the other end, the ojai IN itself. Cheap plastic input issues. Customer service suggested we send it for repairs, or use the 24 THRU. So we used the thru and it lasted a couple more years before the same thing happened to that input as well. It's a bummer because we like the size of it, but clearly this is a recurring issue.
