Suavecito Original Hold Pomade

My husband and I both use this product. He uses it every day. I use it a couple times a week. We love the matte finish! I use other Suavecito products as well, but my husband will ONLY use this one because where we live it’s hot and the other pomades kind of melt and make your face and hair all greasy. This one’s great because it’s matte and doesn’t seems to do that. It has a great hold but not too sticky and it smells really good! We go through ALOT of this product in our household! Decent price point .

Suavecito is the best smelling pomade hands down. I use this particularly for work and it holds well all day. I have a gentleman’s cut combover and makes my cut look 10/10. This doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it seem thin and greasy. I alternate between a few pomades that I find occasion fitting. High shine, extra hold, a lot of sun or possible rain, certain pomades hold different and there’s one for all occasions. The consistency on the “light hold” is definitely “lighter” than the traditional suavecito which is fine and what I wanted. I didn’t want a hard hold and this is soft to medium hold. For best results-this should be applied specifically to showered dried hair. This should not be applied to damp or wet hair. Enjoy!

A godsend for pixie cuts

Fast and the Furious Edition

Coolest pomade tin I've saw yet, so the fact that it's like adding a decoration to my bathroom is a huge plus. Scent is awesome. Before trying this out I had only used the oil based pomade which reigns Supreme to all other hair product brands. Honestly tried this one out bc I liked the fact that it was fast and the furious edition. Now I fight between which one to use because both of them are so good. Perfect texture. You can decide how much shine you get out of the product by the amount of water you use. It's truly a joy to have found Suavecito and I'd highly recommend it to anyone whose looking for a new hair product.

Great product and outstanding customer service

I have been using Suavecito Firme Hold Pomade for a few years now and love the product. It works great for styling my hair and has a great scent. I recently ordered a new jar and Suavecito accidentally shipped the clay version instead of the pomade. I contacted the company through their web site and received a prompt reply telling me that they would send me the correct product and to keep the clay. Within a few days I had the pomade. I will continue using this product and very much appreciate the outstanding customer service that I received.

I’m rating this purchase one

I’m rating this purchase one star because the product has completely changed or the wrong product was shipped to me. I’ve been using Suavecito’s premium blends matte pomade for over 3 years and have always been more than satisfied. I was running out, so I bought it again. However, when I received the product and used it a few times, it was obvious that the product was not the same. Instead, the product in the can has a different texture than all the other purchases I’ve made of this product. Additionally, and worst of all, the product makes my hair look and feel greasy. I will need to find a new product.

Might have a bad tin

I think I may have a bad batch. It's basically a solid bar of soap. Nothing like the video. There's no way to remove a dab. I have to pull the whole puck out of the can and lather it up in my hands with a little water like I'm washing my hands, then drop the block back in the can. Although hard to apply, it's is a great pomade! Holds up to the Texas heat and humidity. It will get a little crunchy towards the end of the day, but it's not bad. There is also some Murray's-like buildup after a few days that takes a couple shampoos to get out.

Very satisfied customer

I recently ordered a Poncho and it arrived with a defect. I was certain they knew it, because it had a small white dot sticker on the defective area.I left a 2 star review that was less than kind. After 2 emails with pics of defect, I was emailed back saying someone would contact me ASAP. Didn’t hear back and just figured that was the end of it. Today I got a surprise package in the mail from Suavacito with a brand new Poncho! NO DEFECTS. I think I jumped the gun on my 2 star review. Even though I wasn’t personally contacted, the situation was rectified immediately, and that shows me they are a solid company. Thank You.PS: I never stopped using their pomade. It’s really the best. I’ve tried MANY other brands and they always come 2nd compared to Suavacito.

Works great

I’d been using the same stuff for about 10 years. Now I can’t find it anywhere. I think they quit making it. Figured I’d try this. This stuff is better! It hold really well, but doesn’t leave my hair greasy or hard! I didn’t even think that was possible. I’d been using a hair grease for a bit bc I figured it was the best it would get. Even went back to old reliable tres flores just bc I knew it’d work. So glad facebook kept trying to get me to buy this stuff. Legit te best stuff I’ve ever used. I hope these guys stay in business forever!

oohhh creamy!

I’ve used suavecito’s standard matte pomades for years but recently tried out their premium blend. There’s positive and negative to this pomade. Positive: it is super easy to blend in and doesn’t take much at all. It is creamy, unlike some of the pomades I’ve gotten that are a bit grainy. I never have bits of white pomade in my hair that didn’t blend in. Negative: the smell is terrible. Unlike the standard pomades which have unscented or beautifully crafted scents, this one just smells like hair chemicals. Thankfully the smell doesn’t last for long in the hair.
