An innovative helper for every coffee lover. The milk jug from the popular manufacturer Subminimal will be suitable for professional baristas as well as for the kitchen equipment of a novice coffee lover. A universal helper for the cafe and the kitchen at home Its main advantages include a heat-resistant ergonomic handle that ensures graceful handling. But what primarily distinguishes it from other teapots is the possibility to heat milk directly in it on the hob. So you don't need any other containers or the steam nozzle of the coffee machine. The material of the product is durable and easy to wash. The tip of the teapot is sharp and allows you to cut out not only a tulip but also a swan in your coffee! Or at least train him. Latte art will be a piece of cake even at home, especially if you have a great partner NanoFoamer from the same brand.

I can’t really comment on how much this jug helps with latte art but it is pretty convenient for frothing milk with the Nanofoamer. It pours great, and is high enough for doing two cappuccinos’ worth of milk at once.Unfortunately the black coating on the bottom started to scrape off after just 1 (what I thought was gentle) use on my gas stove, and about 2/3rds up the inside of my jug the burnishing gets a little ropey. I doubt either will have an impact on the jug’s performance but it’s nonetheless a bit disappointing.

The jug has the right size and the flowing tip is very effective for latte art. Just be careful not to warm the milk on a high temperature stove setting, because you will get burned milk on the bottom surface, which is hard to clean and may also render the taste. My workflow: I warm the milk in the microwave (in a ceramic mug or glass, NOT in the metallic jug!), and at the same time I warm up the jug itself on the stove with a little water (to make sure that the temperature does not exceed 100degC - I throw the water when the milk is ready). In my microwave, it takes exactly 90sec to warm 200ml of milk to about 65degC. So I always have consistent milk temperature.

DO NOT get the Black version - the coating comes off after a few uses. Would definitely go with the Stainless version.Easy to use on stovetop (glass cooktop). Easy to clean if you're careful not to let the milk burn. Use their cleaning brush - it's surprisingly good. Soak in baking soda + dish soap if there's burnt milk that doesn't come off.

The FlowTip Milk Jug has been a great addition to my daily workflow which consists of my Moka Pot coffee and the NanoFoamer. The dots on the inside of the mug works well to indicate the amount of milk to pour. The cleaning brush is also great to clean out milk that can get stuck at the bottom of the jug.The only downside however, is that the black coating looks like it's coming off after 1-2 months of use on a gas stovetop. I would recommend getting the stainless steel variation instead.
I don't have a lot of other jugs, basically different sizes from Rhinowares. The biggest difference with this is the bigger, heat-protected handle, which is really handy for me.I like holding the handle with my 3 lower fingers, and place my thumb and index finger on the jug when pouring, and this handle fits perfectly because of the bigger width.Another big difference compared to other jugs I used is the sharp spout. It's really useful to make designs with very fine lines, and that kind of microfoam is super easy to get from the nanofoamer. There is no 'knee' between the spout and the jug-body like on most jugs, so the flow when pouring is a little different, but you get used to it really quickly.Because it's stainless steel, I can use it on my induction ... MoreI don't have a lot of other jugs, basically different sizes from Rhinowares. No need to wait for a steam wand to heat up, perfect for a late-evening hot chocolate or matcha latte, etc.The only disadvantage for me is that my hand doesn't fit in completely, so I use the supplied brush for cleaning.
It works great to heat milk up! I keep it on a relatively low setting (around 2 on my stove). As a latte art jug, it is just ok. The tip is not the best to pour accurate art, but it works with some practice. Definitely worth the workflow of heating and frothing if you have a preferred pouring jug.
For such a simple product, they did a very poor job. The paint on the outside started flaking off within a couple of months. I didn't worry about it initially, but about 14 months later now half the paint is off and in parts its actually bunching up. Its never been dishwashed and obviously is used on low heat because we're heating milk. It just doesn't flake off on the bottom, but everywhere. And not just that - for some reason there are constant burn stains at the handle and opposite side. Again, this will happen even on low heat and are very difficult to get off.And as others have pointed out - the top of the jog is kind of sharp so you need to be careful when washing.'Buy any other milk jug.
This is a nice little jug but the black coating started to peel away after about 3 days of use which is pretty disappointing. It claims to be dishwasher safe but my dishwasher takes off a bit more coating every wash. I wish I had just ordered the stainless steel colour. Great service from the AB crew as usual
Love the shape and I think it would help my foam creation but it’s just too small for both my husband and myself. I didn’t realize it was only 15oz. Figured it was the same size as my other standard pitcher and it didn’t look smaller in the videos I watched but you were using smaller mugs. I drink an 18oz and my husband drinks a 24oz every day from our LaMarzocco. There’s not much room to create the foam we enjoy without it overflowing. Disappointed but I guess it’s my fault because I didn’t notice size.
Not many sub allow you to heat milk on the stovetop, so this once again, fills a void no other jug can, hence why I purchased it. They say the handle it heat resistant, and it mostly is. It pours clean, and looks attractive. It does allow you to heat, but be warned, as heating milk on the stove top should be done slowly or you risk burning the milk on the bottom. The one gripe I would state about this, is the jug is just small enough that you cannot reach into it with a cloth to clean it out effectively, and the included tool is hardly useful for getting the bottom cleaned out. additionally, I feel it's overpriced for what is offered. $10 cheaper and I would have been much more satisfied.
