Sukin Botanical Body Wash 1 Litre Pump

Sukin Botanical Body Wash is one of those products on which my opinion kept changing as I was going through the bottle. I have now gone through 3 bottles of this and I think I can finally write up my review!\n\nWhat attracted me at the first place was the fact that it does not contain any SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate). I had not used any SLS and SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulphate)-free body wash before starting on this and I wanted to see what the fuss is about. It has some very quality ingredients in there (e.g. Aloe leaf juice and sesame seed oil as the 2nd and 3rd ingredients) which I was quite surprised given the affordable price.\n\nI use either a 500mL or 1L bottle. The bottle comes with a pump which is very convenient. The bottle is sturdy, but I found the dark tint makes it difficult to see how much product is left in the bottle. I also found that water tends to get into the bottle through the pump mechanism and dilute the product if I leave it on the shower floor. So I store this body wash in a shower caddy so that it is "above ground level".\n\nThe body wash itself is a clear gel. Initially I didn't find this body wash lathers up very well - I was using a bath glove at that time. Once I switch over to a bath sponge, it lathers up much better even with just one pump. I really enjoy the beautiful botanical scent of the body wash. It smells refreshing, without the artificial citrus smell that is common found in cheaper body washes. The body wash can be rinsed off sufficiently clean without leaving a slimy residue. At the same time, I found that this body wash is very gentle. My skin feels cleansed and smooth. Although a bit naughty, I know I can get away without applying any body lotion afterwards.\n\nI did have a minor breakout on my back and on my upper arms when I first started using this body wash. It went away very quickly. I put it down to the fact that it was my first SLS-free body wash and it must have been a bit of a shock to my skin when I used something different!\n\nAll in all, I am very happy with this body wash. It is something that I will purchase repeatedly.\n

It contains skin-softening jojoba, avocado and rosehip oils, which act in combination with aroma-therapeutic essential oils of tangerine, mandarin, lavender and vanilla extract.\n\nI purchased the 1L size as I much prefer the pump pack. The shower gel is clear and on a white shower puff it's difficult to tell how much I've dispensed. I found that for a SLS-free shower gel that it did a very good job of foaming and lathering up, however the foam does disappear quickly. Nevertheless, the foaming does make it go a little further. Just plant extracts and oils, water, aloe and scent coming from plant oils (lavender, tangerine, orange) with added hint of vanilla. Very mild and pleasant. I use it with natural loofah, so it foams a bit. When used directly on the skin, foams less as it does not contain SLSs. Great daily wash, does not dry my skin out. Just keeps it clean and healhy. I choose the lime and coconut as I prefer something with a little bit of yest and could be uplifting in the shower as well as cleansing. \n\nI love the packaging this comes in. Its firm and stands upright as well as having a easy to use pump delivery method. It also comes in a generous 500ml bottle. Its so easy to use in the shower leaving no mess. The fragrance is very subtle - I can hardly notice much at all. It has more of a coconut & vanilla scent with the lime being hardly detectable. In this is also lavender which I personally dont love but I can hardly tell in this formula. I do wish I could smell the lime more for abit more uplifting feel. \nThis body wash is very soft and gentle which never leaves my skin dry. It feels quite balanced after use and quite soft to touch. It does leave my skin quite clean as well. There is also no residue left on the skin. \nI enjoy this body wash. It feels effective in a gentle way while leaving skin clean and soft. \nI'd recommend for all skin types who enjoy sulfate free more natural gentle body care. Excellent Body Wash!

Just received my bottle of Botanical Body Wash - Signature. This is a very good natural body wash that cleans very well and leaves your skin feeling hydrated, but not with any leftover film. You can tell when you’re using it that it’s a very high-quality product with superb ingredients. The scent is very faint and has a botanical scent that is pleasing and doesn’t cause nose irritation or allergy flare-ups. You can get a product that has a more intense scent, but at the cost of using synthetic fragrance instead of natural essential oils, such as this product. Most of the other synthetic fragrances don’t last long anyways, so I prefer this safer choice with a natural smell. Refreshing body wash

I loved this body wash. The scent of lime and coconut was refreshing and not sweet at all (I could definitely detect more lime than coconut). The pump bottle made it easy to use in the shower. The only downside was the fact that for some reason the pump on my bottle broke really quickly :S The product was not too watery, light in consistency and also barely foamed (therefore I wouldn´t recommend it for shaving). It also didn't dry my skin or irritate it. The fact that there are no nasties in it, made me at ease to use it every day, since I am currently expecting a baby and want to be careful what I put on my skin.

Smells refreshing and lathers well

I picked this body wash up when I was at the supermarket and my usual body wash wasn't in stock. I'm glad that happened because otherwise I wouldn't have discovered such a wonderful product that I now love. I really like the large size and pump bottle and I also really enjoy it's fresh citrus scent which wakes me up when I shower in the morning. It lathers very well and doesn't cause my skin to go all dry and scaly. My hands can get quite dry and irritated at times and this body wash doesn't aggravated this at all so I think this body wash would be safe for those with sensitive skin.

I love the environmental-friendly and chemical-free part of it. The only issue I face with this product is I'm not able to see how much left of the product i have since it has such a dark tint on its bottles, this results in me having to quickly get alternatives from my local drug stores. Since delivery takes almost 1 week for me to receive to WA. Will always be a staple

This body wash works so well, I don’t have to wear underarm deodorant. Not the result I expected. But, love the bonus! The smell isn’t strong. I have a huge sensitivity to smells. They actually affect my head. Try it! You’ll like it!
