*Update: After much exchanges and arrangements, a one to one exchange was made regarding the defective serum and the store has sent the missing gift with purchase. I was attracted to purchase with the stackable gifts. However the stackable gifts didn’t total up as expected. I am still waiting for Sulwhasoo to revert on the missing gift. However it seems like the messaging board was unattended. Could be a very busy period. Will wait for them to revert.However I am definitely returning this serum after I opened it and saw the weird looking texture with big blobs. Is this normal? Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Serum is an encapsulated,golden-hue serum filled with tiny bubbles of powerful antioxidants. The bubbles of serum are released upon application. The directions say to 'Warm three pumps between fingers and apply to face and neck in upward motion. ' I applied the serum after toner and as directed, and gently pat-pressed it into my skin. The serum has a lightweight, gel-like texture. I could smell a hint of ginseng, herbal but it's nice smell, to me. The scent doesn't linger. The serum absorbs well. It's not sticky nor drying. The serum feels smooth and barely-there after completely drying down. My face feels so nourished and plump. Best face serum

HAS STRAIGHT ALCOHOL IN IT

This might feel hydrating at first but over time it will strip your skin. Please read the entire ingredients list, it has plain straight alcohol in it. Also there’s nothing in this that explains the overly high price. Nothing on the list is expensive. A little retinol but not much and it’s not that expensive. Ginseng is super cheap too. This brand is just overpriced for no reason.

Luxurious, but not better than other polypeptides

I would truly love to rave about this product. I’ve been using it continuously for two weeks. Twice a day and I honestly just don’t see any remarkable difference especially compared to any other polypeptide formula from Sephora that cost a lot less. While this is a very bougie formula and it makes you feel very fancy to use it it’s just doesn’t beat the Ole Henriksen one. I will say this does leave a sheen on your skin. So it makes you look a little glowy. This product is very nice. It definitely moisturizes. It’s just not better than anything else on the market that isn’t a lower price point. Luxury in a Bottle

The entire product experience is top notch! The packaging is stunning, and the serum itself is so luxurious. It's a pricey product, but you can feel the luxury haha.As for the results, I've noticed my skin looks less dehydrated throughout the day. I'm not seeing too much brightening just yet, but I'm excited to see more benefits with continued use.This product was gifted by Sulwhasoo which quite honestly was the only way I was going to try it since it's so pricy! Verdict is still out on if it's worth the money, but so far it's been a pleasure to use.If you can, highly recommend getting your hands on a sample to try for yourself!

Terrible feeling, worse price

Received this as a free sample and was stoked to try it. Sulwhasoo products have always worked wonders for my face. Unfortunately this appears to be the exception because it was not at all hydrating. It stung soon after applying, dried my face out horribly and left visibly tight pores and flaked skin. It's been ~12hrs since and I'm still feeling its effects even after washing it off and applying a soothing moisturizer. I'm afraid if I had used more it would have caused actual damage.Even if it had worked though, I wouldn't recommend based on that price tag alone. Almost $300 for not even 2oz of product is just not worth it. There are plenty of cheaper serums out there that will do the job (and not hurt you, in my case lol). I'm disappointed in multiple ways

Got a nice deluxe sample with an order and it is soothing, smells earthy and didn't cause any irritation. Also I don't think testing this on asian women ages 38-49 is a true test for "anti-aging" (one star off). Give me results for any women 50-65 and I may believe the claims.
