Ive been using this for a few months since i got it in gratis.The product is quite liquidy and i find that it SPRAYS from the nozzle so that sucks a little.This is not a gentle formulation, so if you have sensitive skin I would back away quickly. I put it on my skin while it was wet, and my acne scarring/hyperpigmentation did fade quickly.I do think there are other vit c’s on the market that are gentler on the skin for a similar price point or even less. That said, this one has a pleasant scent and did exactly what it said it would.Im running low so ill probably play around with a few other options, but it really isn’t bad. I am sharing my honest and authentic opinion, as a Sephora Beauty Insider Community Ambassador. I was not expecting to love this the way that I ended up loving it! I mean, the name seemed cool and innovative, since it lends from the concept of CC creams, but I was surprised that it actually works! The instructions say to use it in the morning, but I use it at night too - basically whenever I wash my face. The texture is super smooth and moist without being runny. Honestly, I’m really bummed. I used this product for at least six months with great results and no issues. I received a new bottle a couple of weeks ago, and after using it for the first time, broke out with a terrible rash. I do not have sensitive skin, but this made my skin burn and itch like crazy. I took at least a week off to let my skin clear up, thinking it was probably a different product or something I ate, and then tried this serum again. Unfortunately, I broke out again, this time with red blotches and welts under my eyes. Did you change the formula? I don’t understand how this could happen from using a product I had previously used for so long. I already started the process to return it, but I would like to know if something was updated with the serum.

When I purchased my first bottle of this the serum was clear and worked really well! I saw significant improvement within the first two weeks. I loved it to much bought another bottle, the second bottle I purchased, the serum was completely orange and oxidized. Vitamin C no longer works once it's oxidized. I thought maybe I had just gotten a bad bottle so I exchanged it for another one at a different location. Again the same issue. So I decided to return it and just order one online. A week later I get my serum and again, totally oxidized. I gave up all together and returned it. It's a bummer because I initially loved the formula. For almost $70 the serum shouldn't be bad upon arrival.

The first thing that I noticed upon opening the box is that this vitamin C serum is not dispensed by a dropper and is instead in a pump bottle. This is an excellent feature as this product will not be exposed to nearly as much oxidation as you can turn the top pump to completely close. This CC Me serum has definitely decreased some areas of hyper pigmentation and I use it under my SPF every morning. The scent is mild and refreshing, and the texture of the serum is also very light and not sticky at all. It dries down fast with no pilling. This serum has two forms of vitamin C and niacinamide which are meant to brighten, improve skin tone and texture and reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation. It works yall. I’ve noticed that my tiny dark old acne spots are more blurred and harder to see when using this serum. It’s overall more blurred and less red and dark over my cheeks. My skin is soft feeling. I know that vitamin C is hard to stabilize which is why I appreciate that they put two forms of it in this bottle. Other good components are that it’s vegan and good for all skin types. You can use it during the day with spf or at night. I don’t notice a smell! I recognize if you’re looking for a new & effective vitamin C serum.

On the plus side it sinks in well, so I can see this will be good for combination and oily skins, who may avoid oil based formulas, but I found quite a few problems with it. It is tinted - this camouflages any visual indication that the formula has aged and become less effective - more likely with an aqueous formula to begin with. It is scented and contains essential oils, which is often problematic for sensitive skin and not really appropriate for an exfoliating/active product. It leaves the skin sticky after application, and this stickiness does not go away, even after moisturiser.
