Summer Fridays - Light Aura Vitamin C + Peptide Eye Cream - 15ml

Ok, so! I have really sensitive skin AND with combo skin that had major dry patches, under eye being one of them. I have been looking for an eye cream that wouldn’t dry out when I would bake. This is the FIRST eye cream that does that. Trust me, I have tried SO many different brands. This is the first one that I can apply in the morning and my skin still feels soft and moisturized by the end of the day, with or without make up. As a bonus, it’s a clean product! I have become a HUGE fan of Summer Fridays products. If you have extreme combo skin like mine, where oily patches are super oily and dry patches are really dry, also try the cloud dew oil-free dew moisturizer. It basically regulates and moisturizes both extremes really well.

Brightening & moisturising

I bought this recently after a recommendation from a Mecca staff member when I was looking for a hydrating eye cream for dark circles and fine lines. I love how it instantly brightens the eye area, as well as hydrates and reduces the look of fine lines. I have noticed that my dark circles need less concealer. I have only used for a few days, so perhaps with the repeated use this will improve even more. The texture feels somewhat between a cream and a balm and melts beautifully on eye area. I had been using La Mer and wanted a more budget friendly but clean product. I am really impressed with this eye cream so far.

Eye Saver

Summer Fridays gifted me. I recently tried the Light Aura Vitamin C + Peptide Eye Cream by Summer Fridays, and I must say, it has become an absolute game-changer for my under-eye area. This eye cream has exceeded my expectations in terms of effectiveness and overall experience. The formula of this eye cream is truly impressive. Infused with vitamin C and peptides, it delivers a powerful punch of hydration and brightening effects. After just a few weeks of consistent use, I noticed a significant reduction in the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. The fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes also seem to be less noticeable, giving me a more youthful and refreshed look.

Nice cream

I received this as a free gift and still undecided if I would purchase it myself. I think it's a nice cream and makes my eyes feel refreshed, hydrated and the skin feels nicely firmed around the eye area. I'm not entirely sure if it is reducing dark circles, but then what will really. I would need to use it more long term to find out! The scent is pleasant enough. I don't like very strong smelling products. I have found it nice to use, though maybe slightly underwhelming. I have had no irritation and do suffer from sensitive skin sometimes and have had irritation from products before.

Pretty eye cream

I chose this cream based on its ingredients (vitamin C and peptides). The first few times I used it, it stung a little and I felt some heat. I was also unaware that it has a shimmer that it leaves. But, I like the texture of it and the shimmer! It makes the undereye look very glowy so I can often avoid concealer. However, I would not give it 5 stars as whenever I did use concealer, it would look patchy/cracked whereas with other eye creams that never happens so, I do not think it works well under makeup. Additionally, it is probably not suitable for sensitive skin due to the stinging/heat (which took a few uses for me for that to stop and I do not have sensitive skin).

This eye cream has a pale peach colour so it works well to help conceal dark circles and brighten the look of the undereye area. It’s a balm texture feels like a primer and helps to temporarily smooth skin, it provides a good base for concealer etc. It’s not very hydrating for a dry or dehydrated skin it’s simply not moisturising enough. I didn’t find it helps with puffiness as for me it’s too thick I find lighter creams work better for my puffy eye area. It had no benefit in terms of firming or anti aging I found it more comparable to an eye primer than an eye cream. Wanted a new eye cream and this was not it

I was looking for a new eye cream as I have been using the Tarte C-Brighter Maracuja Eye Treatment (which I really like) for quite sometime and wanted to see if there was anything else out there to try. I am 37 years old and have a very good skin care regimen. I've been in the beauty industry for 13+ years and I am also a makeup instructor. I am very knowledgeable with ingredients and love trying out new products and different brands that I've never tried before.I was recommended this product in store. I loved the way it felt and looked. It had light reflecting pigments in it to really brighten the under eyes and felt really smooth. The first 2 days my under eyes looked amazing! My under eyes started to experience a slight stinging/burning sensation (as if I were doing a chemical exfoliant), it was getting very dry and had a lot of texture happening that I had never experienced before. I used it for about 2 weeks to see if there was any improvements but it just made my under eyes worse. My concealer did not sit well and it looked severely dry. I returned the product and had to use facial oil for about a week to get my under eyes back to how they were and went back to using my original eye cream.I can't say I would or wouldn't recommend this product as it really depends on what you are looking for. Unfortunately this just did not work for me.

lovely texture, shiny under eyes :)

I was excited to try the new Summer Fridays Light Aura Eye Cream because it has light reflecting properties that make it a perfect primer for makeup. I love products with an instant effect. I have only had this new eye cream for a week or so, and as such have not done a proper test. However, I have a good feel of how it performs, and if you like something illuminating, it could be for you. The packaging is lovely, as you would expect from Summer Fridays and the product itself looks very inviting inside the glass jar. The texture of the eye cream is lovely. It is light in feel, but really does have a lovely hydrating and moisturising effect. Concealer goes on really nicely over this light texture. It gives an immediate subtle radiance to the eye area which really helps to brighten up the whole look of the complexion. You can also gently tap it on after makeup during the day if you want a boost in hydration and radiance under the eyes. On close inspection, you can see what I can only describe as a very fine shimmer, which are the light reflecting particles. It also gives a very subtle peachy tint to the skin which helps to colour correct any darkness.

very nourishing and thick

I got this product gifted to me from Summer Fridays. I just turned 23 so I have not been supper into eye creams but I have been starting to use them day and night. I’ve been currently using the drunk elephant one. I already have a lot of summer friday products in my bathroom so I was excited to try this out. It is a pretty thick eye cream so I tend to use it only at nights as I don’t like heavy products on my face during the day. It is very nourishing for my under eye but I haven’t noticed an insane difference in brightening (could just be a me issue as im a workaholic with school and work so i’m not sleeping well lol). this product doesn’t irritate my eyes or have a scent so overall i do like it!
