Sun Bum Sunscreen Spray - SPF 50 - 177ml

I would happily give this a 5 star my only concern is that it just runs out so fast and with the price it’s not something anyone can stock up on. Aside from this the product itself is so good, I’m a red head with pale skin so I tend to burn super easy and currently in Italy it is so warm and I have yet to burn! The applicator give a nice even mist and it does stay tacky (not sticky) for a few minutes but quickly blends into the skin really well. It also smells great which is a plus because most have that sunscreen smell which sticks with you the whole time but this is very nice to have and I’ve even been complimented on it! I’m definitely going to buying this again I just wish it would last a bit longer!

I seriously love these products. One of the first biggest things I noticed when I started to use these products was the smell. it smells so amazing and lasts. I am not a fan of most generic sun screen smells. but I have seriously gotten compliments at the beach about the smell because it is that good. but the products them self are actually amazing too. when i’m wearing them they feel super lightweight on the skin and I don’t feel like I need to re apply every twenty minutes. they are not oily as well which is a plus and if applied correctly I don’t feel need to be aggressively rubbed in! would definitely recommend this product! 🌞

Take if from a Hawaii girl, this is the best sunscreen on the market in the USA. I refuse to use anything else because this is so amazing. I use the spray for my whole body and it leaves a very nice shine without feeling sticky. I use the stick on my face everyday and reapply regularly. All of my friends always ask to use my sunscreen instead of the ones they bring because this is just so good. There is a slight banana smell but compared to the way most sunscreens smell this is miles better. This sunscreen is currently rated as reef safe under Hawaii's guidelines.

I'll use the 70SPF for running in a sports bra or beach/ pool days. 50SPF is for days I'm walking in a park or wandering town in shorts or a sundress. Pros: Offers great protection so that I don't burn, sprays out weightlessly, and doesn't dry down greasily. And it's really easy to reapply! And while this is pricier than some other SPF sprays, at least the ingredients are more nourishing for the skin on your body than others. Only con is the really strong scent, which is tropical, but interferes with perfume. And it smells like coconut, so it makes me hungry lol. Broke out in a horrible rash

I used this sunscreen twice. Once when we went on a trip and I thought maybe I just got too much sun because the rash was really really bad (In between my fingers, hands, arms ect) Thought it was weird because I only applied to my arms and I only got the rash on my arms and not my legs. So I gave it another try a few weeks later and applied it to my whole body….. horrible mistake. Broke out In rash again ALL OVER! had to go to urgent care and get a steroid to get rid of the rash that lasted days!!! Yesterday I used banana boat sunscreen and no rash. So I know for a 100% fact that theres something in this sunscreen that made me have an allergic reaction. Horrible reaction that other sunscreens don’t do for me. Wow. Threw the whole can away. Extremely disappointed.

Great Protection, Non-greasy, Smells Nice!

I have been hunting for water-resistant sunscreen that doesn't leave me feeling like I'm going to leave a grease spot on any furniture I sit on for YEARS. Did some research online and found this. The amazon reviews said it was "ginger approved", and being a natural ginger myself, I decided to give it a go. Now I can say with 100% certainty that it is, indeed, GINGER APPROVED. Once it dries, it smells nice and it mixed wonderfully with my vanilla and coffee based perfume, and it's NOT GREASY! The most I have ever managed was a "peachy glow" when I went to the Belize. I bought this for a trip for Israel (along with a couple others in case it wasn't all it was hyped up to be), knowing that I'd be doing a lot of walking and sweating in a desert. I applied it once every morning in a very thick layer, let it dry, and was good all day. Even through the constant sweating and some swimming, I DID NOT BURN. I had people in other your groups who were watching me the whole trip because they were concerned I would burn to a crisp! Every time they saw me, they commented on the state of my skin and were very impressed that I was not a lobster by the end! The only place I had any sunburn was on my face, but I used a different sunscreen on it. Which leads me to the one downside of this sunscreen. Like I said, I sweat a lot. The one day I used this on my face, it did run into my eyes a little with my sweat and stung a little. Now, I've had sunscreens that did that and were well past "slight sting" and into the "there's magma in my eyes" range of pain, so even this negative is better than most. It stung a little bit, so I went back to the mineral based screen I had been using. All in all, mostly positives with one very small negative. I now have a favorite sunscreen (which i haven't had since they stopped selling the one I used in Belize a decade ago), and it will always be my go-to.

My New Favorite Sunscreen

I got this as a backup just to make sure I could get my own back covered on a beach trip. Usually I use lotion. I’m just loving the gentle scent, the ease of use, and the less messy application. I do rub it in quickly after spraying to ensure even coverage (move fast, because it dries quickly) and then need to wipe my hands off, but it’s still less messy than lotion. It has provided great protection for my young child and I, who both have very fair skin. We’ve worn it in direct sunlight on the beach during peak hours and neither of us got even slightly pink. The only real downside is the cost. It gets used up far faster than a bottle of lotion around the same price point.

Safe for the environment and your skin

It’s super over priced however it’s safe for your body and the environment! Other sunscreens can hurt the ecosystem and marine life as well as be toxic to you due to cheap chemicals. This sunscreen ditches the harmful chemicals for safe and healthy chemicals. If you live in Florida, you’re lucky because your state doesn’t allow toxic sunscreens. It also has some antioxidants in it which makes it better for your skin. It sprays out clear and smells good like coconuts. Has a slight shine to it. My only complaint is it’s so expensive!!! Neutrogena has an environmentally safe sunscreen like this for cheaper, so feel free to cheat on this brand for another lol
